You're going to have a blast at the Jinjer concert. I've seen Jinjer 3 times and met them twice. They are so down to earth, very humble and kind human beings who love their fans. Tati believe it or not is quite shy and soft spoken in person, but when she hits that stage, she is pure badass!! The guys, Eugene (bass), Roman (guitar) and Vlad (drums) are such phenomenal musicians as well. Jinjer as a band are fantastic which you'll clearly see when you see them. Have fun tonight! Jinjer always puts on a killer show. People won't care if you react to the songs later because it is really hard to retain a lot of new stuff at a concert and there are always small details to pick out in studio recordings and the visuals of music videos. Not sure if you are aware, but the vocalist of the opening band Monuments also does the vocals for Termina with Nik Nocturnal.

Got to give props to Eugene the bass player. I'd really recommend you see an interview with him and Tatiana (the only two to give English interviews). He's the heart of the band, and is a very calming presence for Tatiana, who is often times nervous and anxious. He's also her de facto bodyguard and practices BJJ. All that on top of the fact that he's a great and tasteful bassplayer. He's always been my favourite member of the band really.

The running around stuff they did a lot when they were younger. They are a hard working band that is always, always, always touring and are very tight. Vlad's drumming on this song are fire. It should be easy enough to find the set list from tomorrow's show so you know what to re-listen to after.

Teacher Teacher is fantastic live....especially when Tatiana hits that high, sliding belt towards the end....causes goose bumps. I forgot what critic said it, but he mentioned no band has as much potential in the light while also being able to dig so deep into the dark.

-This is my favorite song from them. I’ve had moments where I would think about “Perennial” or “Sit Stay Roll Over” and have second thoughts. However, if I hear it again, I realize why it’s there. -My favorite part is how the last section is the most angelic and beautiful way to say “Fuck You!” -For “chill” to heavy songs, “Vortex” needs to be checked out. It’s an amazing piece. For a straight “chill” song, “Bad Water” is it. The song that made me a fan. -Finally, tonight’s the night. I hope you have as much fun as I did at my first Jinjer show. At that one, I was pretty much in the back like you talked about being except I was drinking water, not wine. For last week, I ended up about three rows from the stage by the encore and singing along. I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on the show.

I wish you a lot of fun and a great nice experience and experience at your first Jinjer concert! My first of 15 concerts is 10 years ago now! I can recommend you if you are not at the forefront in the middle of the wild pack, I can only recommend you to watch and listen to live concerts in front, behind or left - right at the FOH (Front of House) ... there you usually always have the best sound in the whole room, because the sound and light technician of the band are always there, working and the sound is as much as the sound, the sound of his experience, the best for this room and the audience .... have fun and greetings from 🇨🇭 Switzerland 🤘🏼😉

Hi dear Ashlena ! Once again, such a wonderful reaction from you... I am sure you'll have a great time this evening. I can imagine you being excited like a little girl, knowing she will be seeing her "heroes" live for the first time after having discovered them. Enjoy this concert and please make another vlog video and share it with us during a livestream. That'd be awesome. And if you have the chance to catch the band backstage, or at the merch, please go and chat with them, since it's going to be an unforgettable memory for you... I know what I'm talking about, since I have experienced this myself... in 2008 I visited New York and saw the legendary Les Paul live in "his" Iridium Jazz Club. And after the concert he came out to give autographs. The queue of people didn't want to end... everyone wanted him to sign something and wanted a photo with him.... including me ! And he took some minutes time for each and everyone, signed everything, his band members made the photos, the fans requested, and he even had time for a small talk with each and every fan.... and all this at the age of 93 (!) years ! I was so fortunate to have seen him live yet, since a few months later, he passed away. I still have the photos from this memorable evening and will always treasure them. Pisces is on the setlist now. Actually, all 4 songs you've reacted to so far are on it. They switched the headlining setlist up after they finished the Disturbed tour, but have been playing the same setlist every night, since. I believe they did it because they had to cancel their Canadian tour dates last year, so they probably wanted to add back in some of their biggest hits like Pisces, J&P, Homeback, and Who's...One. Anyway, have a blast at the show. If you think you're a fan now, you're going to be a much bigger one after tonight! I'm leaving in the morning on a 5 hour trek to Milwaukee to see them tomorrow night, which will be my second time seeing them in two months, and third time in ten months!

She's been honing her singing for well over 10 years. Check out some older ones like *"Sit, Stay, Roll Over", "Words of Wisdom", "Scissors", "Exposed as a Liar",* etc. It's really fun to see them earlier on, doing their thing. I wrote the following in your Judgement & Punishment reaction as well, but just to keep it fresh since you're just learning about all these!: Another great, current song from Jinjer to experience (via official music video) is their song "Vortex" here on YT. Not only is it a cool song that showcases the heavy Jinjer sound (and a creative music video), Tatiana's vocals really evoke some classic Britney Spears & Gwen Stefani vocal influence alongside her iconic extreme vocals. Jinjer really is an innovative and sharp band with a lot to say. I'm sure you'll hear plenty of people offering a somewhat adjacent heavy band to react to that's current and very active, named *Spiritbox* which features another really cool, really talented, really charming female vocalist, Courtney LaPlante (backed by an excellent band lead by her husband and main writer Mike Stringer on guitars), and based out of Victoria, British Columbia. The entire band is extremely talented, make no mistake. If you like Jinjer, it's basically guaranteed that you'll also like Spiritbox. Not just for the sound, but for the charisma of their performances and depth of songwriting and experimentation. Again, have a fun and safe concert! Don't forget to grab some merch! 🙏

That's a great song. It's not about a school actually, school is just a metaphor here. It's about annoying narrators, based on Tati's experience. You reviewed 4 songs but still didn't face the heavy Jinjer. Most of their stuff is heavier. Try Pit of Consciousness or Call Me A Symbol to check it out.

@@ashlenamusic a few yrs ago I entered a contest for a meet & greet, I was picked by Jinjer as the winner. Halfway to the show my car broke down & I missed the show & the meet & greet. I was so pissed off ! I still havent seen them yet cause I had a widowmaker & a stroke a year later, lost everything, lived in a car for a year, denied disability tho 25% of my heart is dead, got a job & been in my apt for bout a year now, but I will see them & hopefully they have a meet & greet I can purchase. Eugene posted a vid after the invasion & I posted in the comments basically what I did here, & told him, I will meet Jinjer ! Arch Enemy is another good band, their melodic death metal but Alissa shows here cleans on Handshake with Hell as well as growls & features in: The Wolf You Feed with guitarist Nita Strauss, both worth watching. Angela Gossow the former singer of Arch Enemy, the 1st woman to do growls, became the manager to give Alissa White-Gluz the opportunity cause she said she deserves it. You can hear Angela in: Under Black Flags We March.

My Cardiologist had no medical explanation for why I didnt pass out. 98% of ppl that have a widowmaker drop dead instantly with zero chance to save them, the 2%that survive pass out. I had 21% blood flow to my brain, I should have been unconscious, but I wasnt. I scared the firemen screaming at the top of my lungs FUCK !!! When they entered the house, cause everytime my heart took a beat it felt like a hammer to my chest. Ambulance shows up & I ran out the door, across the lawn, jumped a ditch & climed into the ambulance. The paramedic told me I couldnt be in here. We were arguing when the fireman started yelling at him hes the patient. They finally took an EKG, got the results and he yelled at the driver, lets go now !!! On the operating table, they put me under, but I heard a male voice & someone touching my nether region, I grabbed his arm & set up yelling what the fuck are you doing? Scared the guy, lol. Theres a lot more too the story, 1 of many odd happenings in my life. My son told me Dad I dont think your ever gonna die. Ive been stabbed, poisioned, drowned, electricuted, thrown 20ft thru a winshield onto my head, hit by a car, caught covid b4 a pandemic, was horrible, I projectile vomitted phlem, sharp pain everry breath, barely could breath, got it again living in my car, a widow maker & a stroke. Thats just off the top of my head. So Im still here (so I can meet Jinjer) Did you enjoy the show?
