Getting glasses in Japan is on my list on my next trip! did you just take your prescription? tell them or did they test you? interesting!

YES much better much clearer and longer distance and YES it includes the test.... so if your unsure about them testing you if you have a trusted eye examiner yes you can give them your prescription but the test is free so why not just do it there.... ALSO normal glasses are available usually same day if you go in the morning its just sunglasses or specialty glasses like bifocals that take about 5 days
