3 million won is about 2200 dollars. So it sounds INSANE, but it's actually just a hefty but reasonable paycheck. Like considering their job is to sit on their asses and they get 2 grand a pop, that's pretty ridiculous, but it's not millionaire overnight ridiculous. Now 30 BILLION won is around 22 MILLION dollars. So that IS millionaire overnight money. So that entire guild is valued at 50 billion, which is around 37 million dollars. Since Jinwoo gets stronger with every dungeon he clears and they're not upping the rank of each dungeon they do, this is all getting easier and easier for him and at the end of, what 19 dungeons they wanna clear, he gets a payout of 37 million dollars. Plus he gets boatloads of XP, plus as we've just seen he also got a job change quest, PLUS he gets tons of loot from the dungeons as well. On top of all of that, he gets PRIVACY. This deal is basically ALL benefit for Jinwoo.

Also regarding his interaction with the White Tiger guy, he basically told him in a long winded manner, "Keep your mouth shut, and we can be friends." If people find out about Jinwoo, S ranks are gonna start fighting over him, and people like the S rank whose brother he killed will have reason to be cautious around him. A guy like THAT being cautious means he looks for leverage. Someone who's SO much stronger than you that wants to kill you is JUST gonna walk up and flatten you. Someone who has reason to be careful is gonna go after, for example, his sister. Then you're a soft target. So the more people that believe Jinwoo is stronger than he should be, the more complicated his life gets. He needs to hit S rank power before he goes public so his strength can act as a warning signal everyone else. If he's got top tier power, he can protect his family AND he has bargaining power wherever he goes. So when it comes to the White Tiger guy, Jinwoo's basically thinking "We can be buddies, but he needs to know to keep his damn mouth shut." Jinwoo isn't evil, and it's not like he wants to hide in a hole forever. He's being careful, but having high up friends is valuable. This was a very keen political move from him. He flexed his power, slapped him back for snooping, making it clear how DEADLY serious he is about privacy, then he revealed he has some tricks like HEALING items up his sleeve, and finally he gave the guy his phone number. That's actually kinda genius. He basically showed him "I can kill you, I can kill your friends, I can kill your family. But I really don't wanna do that, so just don't go blabbing and we can be pals instead."

I said 3 million Won is 2 grand. 3 million is what the "strike team" is getting for sitting around filling out their numbers. 30 BILLION is Jinwoo's promised payout after clearing all 19 dungeons. I never talked about the 600 million for the 3 gates they canceled. Your number for that is accurate, as are my numbers. I literally just googled what the number in won is for US dollars, and googling 600 million, yeah it's the same thing you just said. I got my numbers from knowing how to read numbers.

I think you forgot that they said it was 3mil per gate and they're doing 3 in a day each time. That's $6600 a day for sitting around for about 4-5 hours. That's Completely insane for a large majority of people.

@kujuqqo I'm pretty shour that falls under the Mage category. When I watched episode 12, I remember jinwoo saying something along the lines of a necromancer being a sub-ckass of Mages. Take Bora Lee for example, we haven't seen her fight in the anime yet, but in the game, she's put in the Mage category despite spasificlly being a summoner. And you have joho's cousin who hasn't appeared in the anime yet (and probably won't for a long while), but is also in the Mage category, and she has an f-ing gun.

Something you have not seemed to have picked up on, is that he mentioned "There is another of my emotions gone" when he fought the guys from the spider dungeon. As he is levelling up, he is losing his emotions and becoming more and more dead inside. Its going to be interesting where this leads, but he is only a bad day away from being a villain in my opinion.

Competition is high between guilds and there's only so many gates available. The idea of a second awakened Hunter that nobody knows about has any of these guilds salivating to try to get him. Especially if they found out they're knocking out as many dungeons as they are so quickly.

Jinwoo is actually around low to mid A rank as he was barely able to defeat Cerberus, which was an A rank guard. Woo Jinchul is one of the highest A rank hunters... literally verging on S rank.

I think the part with the potion is that yes, it was a polite thing to do as he was the one who left the cut, but i don't think potions are a thing in this universe. At least outside of anyone using "The System". So, the recruiter not only is seeing this reawakened assassin guy with stealth who is clearing dungeons by himself, but is also able to heal others, even if just a minor cut. Kinda like the association guy he fought in the dungeon started getting really shook when Jin healed himself. I think Jin was also flexing just a little giving him the potion
