@ perhaps, it did give me that impression at first, but if you watch it frame by frame, you can still see the orcs targeted still running. They don't disappear. And that gives sense and cause to Iron's vein popping up indicating he got pissed and the smile after as a way of getting back at them. It would also not make sense that a skill to taunt would obliterate them. I'm also guessing that they cannot be taunted perhaps due to an intrinsic skill or because they are somehow protected by Kargalgan's magic. I'm anime only so maybe a manwa or novel reader can clarify, but that is what I got from that scene.

@@TrainHardnett in fantasy/rpg universes, hymns are generally more likely to be used by "holy" creatures like priests and paladins, things like spiritual or religious connotations, while songs are in general buffs or debuffs used by classes like bards or shamans (which in that case could fit the description of that Orc), basically spells that can manipulate the pace of a fight through multiple little magic actions. A1 Studio probably adjusted it in the anime version !

The way they transition iorns fight with the orc generals to igris fight was too smooth not to mention igris using those two tiny daggers when he lost the sword. Nice touch to detail giving how they show that igris had them with his fight with jin woo

Now all Jinwoo needs is some kind of support mage in his personal guard, because then he could form a traditional dungeon party purely out of raid bosses. He doesn't need a support because he is his own healer/enchanter, but its just funny to think about raid bosses doing a normal dungeon. Let me be the paragraph guy and explain the glitch. So basically whenever you see a monster glitch, its because it started reasoning or thinking outside of the command placed in their head (To kill Humans) by the Monarchs. Jin Woo has been seeking answers as to why he got the powers he has and why he became a player. So when Jin woo found out he could communicate with the monsters in the dungeon (Baruka), he tried finding out by asking Baruka. Hence Baruka glitched cus he was trying to answer Jin Woo question which was outside of the command (To Kill Humans). Presently, why Kargalgan glitched was because he was trying to think/reason outside of the same said command (To Kill Humans) by thinking if the same person he was fighting currently (Jin Woo) was also the Monarch of Shadows (Ashborn). Hence the glitch... Thank you for taking your time to read this.

Actually, answering the questions would not stop him from killing humans. It makes more sense to me that they are glitching because the system does not want Jinwoo to have that info.....at least the 1st time with the elf. The 2nd time seemed more about Tusk questioning his 'programming'.

Context as to why Jinwoo took some time to save Kihoon: "He had intentionally let the boss beat Kihoon to within an inch of his life for the sole purpose of taking on all the magic beasts by himself." So he did that to maximize his XP gains (plus one A rank wouldn't help much against that many orcs, and Jinwoo knew Kihoon would fight if he had any strenght left).

The day before, he thought "Not that I want the attack squad to fail tomorrow, but..." after agreeing to come help the mining team again. He thought that if they failed, he could help the Hunter's Guild by slaying the high ranking beasts. If it was just helping, he would gladly accept help from Cha, they would make quick work of the dungeon. So my interpretation of he wanting the XP is not wrong, because in this stage, he wants to climb the demons castle as fast as possible, and any level or new shadows would help.

If you're wondering how the shadows are ranked, as of now, it goes like this: - Basic Grade = The lowest tier, these shadows are the weakest in the shadow army and can be as strong as E-rank and D-Rank Hunters - Normal Grade = Serve as foot soldiers in the shadow army and can be as strong as C-Rank Hunters - Elite Grade = About as strong as B-Rank Hunters and they're also the most common in his army - Knight Grade = About as strong as A-Rank Hunters and can be given names (Tank is still an exception) - Elite Knight Grade = About as strong as basic S-Rank Hunters such as Baek Yoonho

Monarch's Domain is stat boost for his shadows. His shadows gain at least 1 rank+ stat within the domain. Thats why the colors changed for his shadows. If he levels up more he can have more range and more boost

I just finished watching the episode .It was jaw -dropping everything from start to finish.To think kargalan would be this strong that you would need to two guilds to clear that dungeon even though it’s A dungeon close to that of a S dungeon .It’s freaking mind boggling.!!I understand cha hee as an S rank hunter had an easy time killing those A rank orcs who in their great numbers are a problem for even jin woos soldiers ,any S rank hunter would struggle hard against karglan and his 4 guards.Goes to show of jinwoo didn’t have this summoning ability with the ability to keep leveling up he too would be done for .

It worked the first time extracting Tusk because at this point in the story jinwoo is way stronger than tusk, compared to when he fought the ice elf boss in the red dungeon baruka he failed 3 times because although he beat him jinwoo wasn’t by himself stronger than baruka, the shadows really gave him the edge on that one. A shadow baruka would of been cool to see smh lol
