​@@gronk2002 Serious? For me it was very obvious the first time I saw it... Even though I had never seen the team. That balloon scene seemed very disconnected from the previous sequence... I can't explain it exactly... But it felt like "hey hey look at this scene! Okay now we can continue"... I felt right away that there was something there, I went back and analyzed the characters' faces because I thought they might appear again as someone mysterious... as that wasn't the case, I already assumed it must be something different. Like Stan Lee references from the Marvel universe.

If you go back right to the opening scene of Episode 1, Powder was "seeing" scribbled faces on the enforcers even then. She's always had symptoms of BPD and everything that happened since has just exasperated it, especially being abandoned by her sister having already lost her parents.

I cannot remember who said it, but there is a theory that Powder was completely unaffected by losing her parents because she already had issues. She is unhealthily obsessed with Vi to the point that she did not care about her parents dying, only that Vi was sad.

@@AppleBaron A common thing for people with BPD to do is latch on to a single person and base their entire self-worth on that person. It's pretty clear that Powder had already made Vi that person as of the show's opening, she was upset/saddened by the things around her but it wasn't until Vi started crying that she was fully affected. Notice how when Powder killed Maylo, Claggor and Vander her only concern was that Vi was upset with her, not that she'd killed her family. It's also why she immediately latched onto Silco once she felt she lost the person she based her self-worth on. She's pretty textbook BPD.

Fun fact, the song playing when Jinx shows Silco the gemstone is her release song, at the time Jinx was released in the game this song came out so the players could get an inside view over her psycho personality and overall vibe. It’s really cool that they added it into the show.

Just for some clarity; the police outfits cait and the other ones had on were more ornamental. They were just supposed to basically be pretty bodyguards for the speech. Normal enforcer outfits look more like Grayson and Marcus’s did earlier in the season when they went to the undercity

The unfortunate part is that after the time jump we only ever see two female enforcers without their helmets (maybe one of the enforcers later is female and I've missed it, I won't pretend that I've checked). Those two were the girl smoking with everyone before the fire, and Cait, and for whatever reason Cait wears her ceremonial uniform to the jail. So even though I do agree that they're ceremonial uniforms, we have no hard evidence to support that women aren't forced to wear skirts after the time skip. It is just as likely that women get the choice between a skirt and pants for their uniform.

Powder's VA crying and breaking down after she realized what she had done and that whole scene. It still makes me cry.

small detail on jinx and vis tatoos. Jinx has blue clouds all over her arms, which most likely resemble the blue explosions from episode 3 where she killed ehr friends, due to the explosions. And Vi has coqwheels and alot of technical gear tatood onto her, even tho she has nothing to do with tinkering. But jinx aka Powder is all about tinkering, so its a monument to her sister. Vi also has the letter M and C as a tatto, which stand for Mylo and Claggor

well we see that after a jump in time both Piltover and the lanes have changed and you could say that some for the better and others for the worse, but the contrasts are what really stand out, for example Jace is the face of progress but Victor is behind behind the scenes and avoids publicity, one is good-looking and the other deteriorated, while this happens other protagonists have their contrasts and similarities Jinx is brutal, unstable and with complexes of a spoiled 9-year-old girl in a 16-year-old body, being the spoiled daughter From the boss who is allowed almost everything, his room or lair seems a reflection of his own twisted mind, on the other hand Caitlin who is modest, firm and obedient, with a high sense of duty even when it is something simple, we see that she is compassionate when treating a criminal's wound while Jinx didn't care about attacking her own allies, one fires a machine gun and the other a camera, Jinx is allowed everything while Caitlin is restricted, both decide to disobey by staying on the sidelines , Jinx attacks the fair and Caitlin searches for answers in prison, they are visited in their rooms and they seem very dedicated to their own projects, one invents and the other investigates. But now it seems that we will have to follow the path with our old friend Vi who seems to have lost that whole time jump in a hole, I don't think they should give much credit to the lucubrations that they attribute to Marcus, generally many events escape control of the characters and they must deal with the events or consequences on the fly and not planning, by the way we see how Professor Hermeindingger is more outside of the events by relativizing both the events and their consequences and Mel Medarda is the only one who has a plan or target and this one is called Jace.

Literally every tool ever invented can be used as a weapon. Thats not a good enough reason to NOT invent tools. Knives, axes, shovels, dynamite, rope, the wheel, lasers, cars, airplanes, your friggin phone, fire and electricity (are not inventions, theyre discoveries but we still cultivated it as tools) Literally everything can be used as a weapon or used as a component to build one. Electricity alone is probably THE most dangerous tool we even cultivated. The amount of damage and the absolutely staggering number of ways you can cause said damage with electricity is actually a bit alarming if you think about it. You could kill, stun, shock, burn, short circuit, magnetize, explode, supercharge, overload, scramble, ionize and EMP the crap out of entire cities if you weaponized it. Destroy infratructure, disable navigation and other vital utilities, annihilate records and sending the entire system back to the stone age, kill the eco system to disrupt agriculture etc etc. My guess on why we havnt is probably due to it being very unpredictable if launched on such a large scale. Its also completely indiscriminatory, if we somehow shot a massive electric shock trough the woods to wipe out, lets say, the bees to prevent pollination and ruin growth in an area you would wipe out ALL the bees, you cant really be selective about it and you would most likely wipe out countless other animals too leading to unforseen side effects, things that will probably affect yourself in the long run. We DO have EMPs and tazers and stuff. EMPs are non lethal so if it back fires you wont kill you own troops, youd just burn your own tech, and tazers are very tiny making it very easy to control/contain. Electricity could probably be used in more ways for doing harm than good. HOWEVER... The good we can do with it is so rediculously practical, useful, versatile and efficient that NOT cultivating electricity would be *_certifiably insane._* Yet, it IS a _very_ dangerous tool. If we just didnt invent thing whenever there was a possibility it could be used for malicious purposes, we would still be living in caves... Assuming we, as a species, would even have survived. Most likely we would be extinct. Sorry bout the wall of text 🤣 I just find it kinda strange that people react this way, and *literally* everyone Ive seen watch this show, probably over 100 channels at this point (no, I dont have life 💀), do react with some variation of: "dont they realize this can be weaponized?". Of course they do, anything can be weaponized. But you have to take that risk for civilization to move forward. If you actually read this far. Im aware that this maasive post might come across as preachy or arrogant if taken the wrong way (Its really hard to convey tone in text form 😖 especially when English is your fouth language). But I assure you, that is not my intent, Its not really some finger waging exercise, I dont believe myself to be some guru "blessing all you plebs with my wisdom". This is just something that Ive been thinking about alot and I just needed to get this off my chest 🤣 I really do appriciate your channel quite alot, youre a lovely couple with a very pleasant, natural dynamic and energy.
