I'm talking about "Death in the family" the comic series about the Joker coming back from the dead, with his previous cut off face stapled back to his head, and he targeted the Bat family. At one point he was in the Batcave with Bruce, Dick, Barbara, Jason, Tim and Damian all tied up with bloody bandages covering their faces except for Bruce, sitting around a dining table. He then had a Jokerfide Alfred bring in dishes and placed one in front of each of the batkids. He revealed that under the dishes were their own severed faces. After the Joker left, Batman escaped his bindings and rushed to Damian. He took of his bandages and... They were fine. The faces in the dishes were all really good fakes. The Joker could have actually done it, but he didn't. He just wanted to scare them, and he did

Fuck this scene illustrates how Silco ruined these girls. Everything is because of him. His grooming Fatherhood with all the lying and using her mental illness as tool to keep her at his side. Make her doubt herself. He needs to kill her sister immediately so she cannot heal or come to terms with what broke her mind. She has to stay as mentally ill as he is. He won't let her grow. Like Vander did. Because she'd leave. So now Jinx has no emotional development. She only sees relationships in terms of two people because thats what Silco instilled her. This is how she tries to relate to Vi. Like, we saw them as kids. She had brothers and a family and she had no issues with jealousy. Holy fucking shit this guy absolutely wrecked this girls mind. "Finish it!". He raised her to be a killer. She was miserable the entire time. All the colors 'turned black'.
