Most welcome. Glad it was helpful for you. It would be better to have a repeater. Right now I have the jio router at one corner of my house due to the restriction of entrance of fiber cable. So to get proper coverage across ally 2BHK I am using another router as repeater. You cannot use same settopbox with multiple TVs. You can pay 3000 or something to jio and take 2nd settop box on same Connection and use it if you want. Hope this helps. Do subscribe to be notified about upcoming content.

Hey.... If you only opt for router and 999/- plan, then you can only use prime video. Remaining all apps can be activated only with STB and then use on Smart TV and Phone. Also I mentioned a list at the end on which apps can be used on other devices, even after having STB only those apps can be used on phone or smart TV. Hope this helps.

Hi... 2.4Ghz is a narrow bandwidth of wifi frequency but can travel longer distances where are 5Ghz is a wider range frequency and can work for shirt distances. This you get higher speeds on 5Ghz bandwidth. You can improve on 2.4 ghz too by changing channels. Ut 5ghz will always be better and faster. Most of the latest devices have this bandwidth. @@Draig1999 I really doubt area manager has the power to provide extra subs on his own unless its out of his pocket as the Jio subscription is online based. But if it's genuine and you gonna use atleast major OTTs regularly, then it's a good deal. Do remember that Netflix in 3999 plans and below is basic plan. So no 4K or HDR. Hope this helps. It is a great and honest review. Today taken the 999 plan.I asked for a second set up box for my second TV. They were not clear.First they said the second set up box will cost Rs 1000.Then they said that a second setup box will cost Rs 4000.I think it is very costly and it led me to an argument with the sales team.They have expressed their inability to provide on a concession. I have a Tatasky connection on two TVs.and ACT broadband.I thought the Jio fibre will replace both and I can make some savings. Can you throw some light.

Hi... The extra Settop box is indeed 3999 including GST and they don't do any discounts unfortunately. As Settop box is their main attraction, they cash it out there. And to be frank it's a bad choice of replacing DTH with Jio Settop box. It cannot reach that level of quality and convinience unless your DTH usage is very less. I have 999 plan, speed is good but tech support is pathetic if router doesn't works. It's been 36+ hours after raising service request no body turned up to fix. It doesn't matter even if you contact appellate authority of jio. So keep that in mind and plan for a backup if you intend to use jio for WFH.

It's better if you mention your location as the support is very much location specific. Whenver I had issues, the support turned up within 4-6hrs.

Thank you for the kind words... Glad it was helpful. Regarding telephone connection, you get a landline number and can purchase a telephone unit and connect to Router to use it as a landline. If you do not want to a landline, then you can install Jio calls app on any mobile and use those free calls via Wifi. Hope this helps. Will try to post a dedicated video later about this. Hey, if you take the Jio STB, then yes you can watch KZbin with the 399 plan too on a Non-Smart TV. Along with KZbin you can also watch other OTT apps like prime video, Netflix, Hotstat, Zee5 etc with your own paid subscriptions if you have. Do note that 1000 extra will be taken as security deposit for the STB.

Jio fiber has the worst services in Bangalore, i fell for the trap of attractive offers and low price. When i chose to cancel the service and asked for refund they said it will be initiated 45 days after the pick up of router. Since jan 2022 i have been waiting for the pick up and am calling their call centre almost everyday still no one has come inspite of scheduled appointments. I sent email and what not, still no response, l still haven't received my security deposit. 🙏 Please choose internet service provider who value customers like ACT, Airtel and not Reliance. Worst customer service and internet fluctuations.

Thanks... Mostly they must not be using it as a daily driver. The quality degradation becomes mores clear with larger screen. So if you are going to use a TV screen above 32" then it would be very obvious especially in the fast-moving scenes. But apart from Live TV the 999 plan does offer good value with the OTT subscriptions. Do subscribe as I will be posting a dedicated video on the Live TV.

Hotstar is monthly membership which is automatically renewed with your monthly jio fiber connection (no extra charges, as long as you are using jio fiber 999 plan and above).

Hey... I think you meant MI 4K android Box. With MI box you can make your TV fully smart with Google assistant, Playstore and casting too. You will get wide range of apps. Jio box on the other hand has limited apps and limited features. If your requirement is only to watch the OTT apps provided by Jio, the. jio set top box should be fine. If you want to make your TV more smarter, stick to Mi box. Hope this helps Feel free to ask more if you want.

Ha ha... Just because it is cheaper and provides the channels you might be watching, doesn't mean it can replace for everyone. You are compromising on quality, convenience and many channels too. People are expecting it to be same as the regular DTH, which it is not. So thus my statement. But again it doesn't mean it's not useful for anyone. There are certain section of users for whom it is value for money. You may check the Live TV video I posted and you will know.

I also have an android TV but use the Jio Settop box for live TV content and some content whose subscription is limited to only Jio Settop box. Hi generally complimentary packs are not upgradable. So you won't be able to upgrade to HD plan with difference amount. You can still check with Netflix Support once if they are ready to do so.

Hey, you can utilise the free calls by installing jio calls app on your phone and use via internet. They don't give a free phone.

Hi... You can only use Amazon Prime if you don't take settop box. For all other OTT apps of 999/- plan you need to have settop box to claim and activate the. Do check my Jio Fiber playlist to get more details and subscribe to be notified for upcoming content ☺️

Hi.. There are different plans.. 399/- per month, 699/- per month, 999/- pm and above. You can select the one suited for you. 399 and 699 plans fo not have any free OTT subscription, it gives only WiFi and from 999/- plan and above you get OTT subscription too as mentioned in the video. Do note that the values I mentioned are excluding GST, 18% GST will be extra on the plan cost. Hope this helps.

Hi... The experience of cable is still the same. Not easy to navigate for parents at all. So I won't recommend stopping your DTH if parents aren't tech savvy. And it's similar to mi box with limited apps from jio store. No access to playstote.

Hi.. I am using WiFi only. Buffering depends on the signal strength and speed available. If your Settop box is too far from the WiFi router and not connected to 5GHz bandwidth, there can be drastic reduction in overall speed causing buffering. My Settop box is hardly 2-3m away from router, so no issues.

Hi... Yes you need Settop box to claim majority of the OTT apps. Without it you can only use Prime Video and Discovery+. Jio TV app is also only accessible from Settop box.

No I don't. Keep the volume max on STB and then control from TV remote, that would be better.
