Bought one of these sweet things. Have two of the OPPs. And they do everything I need. With one issue. When I watch movies that I buy from KZbin the movie flickers horribly. Most times I can get it to stop, but it is incredibly annoying. The OPP2 does not suffer from this issue which is great. It also does everything I need. However this tablet also suffers from an unexpected problem. It is crazy stupid fast. I mean zoom. I’d say as far as all the android pads I’ve used over the years. The OPP2 is by far the fastest, smoothest preforming Android Pads. Not really a bad thing to suffer from and not really a problem. Was not a fan of android for a long long time but OP and Oxygen OS make this a whole new experience, and one that I quite enjoy.

@@samthomas770 hi... This is a great tab if the usage would be for all the tasks except notes and drawing. For notes and drawing I would suggest a Samsung tab rather as it has more software features and inbuilt stylo features focused on students and artists. OnePlus has a long way to reach there.

@@samthomas770 As mentioned, if the main requirement is faster and smoother performance for a very long time, Pad 2 would be better but as you specifically said for school needs the Exynos would perform well as the use won't be like a power user. The notes taking and drawing are top notch due to the software integration. So do check comparison videos on the aspect and take a call based on the priority of usage.

@@alexnoyon If OnePlus 10 Pro is working then there's no reason for Pad 2 to not work. Possibly loose contact on the USB port. I tried with USBC to HDMI adapter too and it works fine for me.

I am played games specialy racing beach buggy, bike racing , grid riptide with my red gear wired game pad. It played well for 2 or 3 times latter wards it started disconnecting. So I think a proper game pad is required but as the narrator here said you can do connect it with any blutooth connection console easily. Also its really worth it rs 190 pm. Subscription fee.

However, I’m looking for a new tablet and I don’t want to get the iPad Air M2 because I’m already familiar with iPadOS and prefer not to stay in the Apple ecosystem. My iPad Pro used to give me only 6-7 hours of battery life, which isn’t sufficient for my teaching needs. I also own a OnePlus 7T smartphone, which I bought in 2019 in Bhubaneswar while doing my Masters in Computer Science. I’m more comfortable with Android because I usually download videos using uTorrent, which Android supports.I have a few major questions, and I would appreciate your help:Does the OnePlus Pad 2 support the Google Docs app? Most of my notes for students are made using Google Docs. I’ve heard from some KZbinrs that it doesn’t work very well on the OnePlus Pad 2. Can you please confirm this?Is the uTorrent app available on the Google Play Store? I usually use uTorrent for downloading videos and need to know if it’s available on the OnePlus Pad 2.Can I use my OnePlus 7T as a hotspot for the OnePlus Pad 2? @@Crouky hey glad you find the video useful. Frankly there's no proper way to check the panel. I contacted the team and they said it's 10 bit panel but can't take the word though.

@@IAmGizmogeek if you're up for checking it out further, when connected to a Windows PC, it should show the bit depth in the Windows advanced display settings (I'm not sure if the HDMI capabilities of the connected cable could factor into the representation though; if you're using a 4K@120Hz capable HDMI 2.1 cable, I guess that should eliminate any associated doubts). Additionally, if you have an NVIDIA GPU, then the available output colour depth can also be accessed in the NVIDIA Control Panel's Change resolution section (there should be something similar available in AMD GPU software as well). Regardless, I very much appreciate your response, and thank you for being so kind in helping people out.

I did check that in the initial days itself and it doesn't show 10 bit, but if you do some deep search online regarding this there are multiple references on reddit and other such platforms proving that 10 bit indication on Windows doesn't mean a native 10 bit panel. I did a lot of research regarding this to find out in someway if it's possible with a 100% confirmation and finally gave up.

@@Crouky it's not just about 8bit you should be worried about but the after sales. Right now OnePlus has 0 credibility in that aspect for TVs. If you are lucky, then not an issue but if you unfortunately come across any issue, then you will regret long time.

@@K00711 That's the promise they give but it's handled very bad. I know many people who struggled so much to get support. You raise request with OnePlus CS and they pass on to 3rd party. Ab they will give all reasons to delay the issue, reject it and you will be frustrated. If you are very lucky, the issue gets resolved within a month.

Hey bro... If your requirement is media consumption and Notes taking, s9 is definitely better. Amoled screen and stylus features are another level. As a Ultra user, you have a good understanding of it. Pad 2 on the other hand is good for having faster and smoother performance due to the chipset.

Launcher doesn't help HDMI display if the usb port of the device doesn't support it. It's the minimum criteria.

That is a great deal... The difference with rear speakers is majorly experienced during an action movie or gaming majorly. Without them I use for regular usage and the speakers itself is very powerful enough to give a wide soundstage. Do keep an eye out on the rear speakers and grab when you can. Wont be disappointed.

@@ssnsvs There is no green line issue on Pad 1 reported nor I faced. Note taking features are not much on OnePlus pads, but it is manageable. Like if you want your writing to be converted to text automatically, that's not available in Notes app. I don't know about the processor performance of S9Fe+ but have used SPen features which are the best for notes taking. I would suggest checking some long term reviews of S9FE+ and if there are many performance issues reported, then you can go with Pad2.

@@sivaprasadgod6423 hey bro I tried with OnePlus 12 and it is very similar. You will have three sides black bars on monitor when only mirroring. If used desktop mode, it is same as what I showed for Pad 2.

Hi bro... it's been a long time that I tried it. But it was by just connecting a usb dongle of the controller on the Jio Settop box. Will try to test the Cloud gaming once by taking subscription and share a video if possible.

I have ordered one plus pad 2. Thinking to cancel it because of display. How it is really?? I am an OnePlus 12 user. It is too worst compare to Amoled??

Hi... Very honestly the only drawback I see of it not being an Amoled screen during my usage is when I play videos and the black bars are visible in greyish color and not deep black. Other than that the display is very good and you wont be disappointed. Options for Amoled screen on a powerful Tab comes at higher cost and there are less options in the market.

I already own s24 ultra. I guess I'll get tab s9 or wait for tab s10. I wanted to buy OP Pad 2 but lack of desktop mode is deal breaker for me. I want it to function both as my laptop and my tablet. Also thinking about surface pro 11th edition.

As a S22 Ultra user once, I share the same feeling. Samsung flagship tablets, Apple Ipads and surface pros are the only ones that provide this but their cost very high compared to the OnePlus Pad 2. As showed in the video, if your target is majorly document editing, browsing, multi media consumption, and not gaming, then you can still use the desktop mode through developer options and save good amount of money with minor compromise as the processor is powerful and the Pad 2 did not warm up at all in the whole process.
