Is it recommended to use Jira for HR applications ? As there is a lot of sensitive information and at project level not a lot of user access control.

Everything can be restricted to users what content to be seen by whom. Jira is a great software for IT industry

Hi Lakshmi, Jira can be easily used for HR or any level of secure project within organization. You can also setup issue level restrictions within Jira. It provides some great permission schemes which can be configured for the any types of projects. Its highly customizable. So you can use it for your HR projects without any issues, you just have to talk to your Jira administrator or project administrator to set it up correctly as per projects need. Hope this helps. I am the project administrator but I do not see any option to set up the issue level security.. could you please guide me … I have clarified with Jira admin in our company but they also confirmed that it would be opened (atleast view) for all the project members. I heard about issue level security in Jira , could you please do a video on that..
