its sad that all those cool animes are full with plot holes. So is this fight and Jiraiya's death. So apparently ninjas learn only one attack at the time at 16:45 ,its not like you can grab the hand and do all kinds of other stuff to the opponent, grab the hand , then hit the face, or stomach. Apparently Jiraiya doesn't know how to follow up with another hand or leg even if his first punch was blocked. ( just silly writing ) Also funny how the same guy can not block a Sage moot leg attack ( at 15:48 ) but can block with one arm a sage mode punch ( at 16:45) ?? ______________________ Now to Jiraiya`s death _________________________ There was no reason for Jiraiya to go back outside and risk his life just to confirm something that took only some seconds of looking at the enemy. He could have easily send a shadow clone to do that and from episode 55 with title " wind, " we learn that anything a shadow clone learns goes back to the original. In fact in episode 55, Kakashi is saying that shadow clone was developed to get intel from dangerous areas But for some silly reason ( sarcasm, it's just plot hole writing ) Jiraiya doesn't use it to get intel, instead he risks his own life. ________________________________________ Now some people will say, but he had only one arm. He could not do the sign for shadow clones. Well this show has shown us that ninjas can do jutsu with one hand ( example Haku ) or use someone else's hand to help to make the sign for the jutsu. Jiraiya is a hokage level ninja and he already made shadow clones when fighting Pains animal path , while having his hands all the time in pray position. So now he cant make 1 clone with one arm still working??? Or Jiraiya could have used Fukasaku`s frog hand to help him with the shadow clone sign. Shadow clone has no complicated sign. ________________________________________ My point is this, there are so many ways around it how Jiraiya could survive this, but because of lazy writing he had to die to advance the plot Good writing is when you make him die in a way where there is no way out ... but i just named many ways out within the rules of this shows universe In fact Jiraiya's death violates this shows own rules that were established earlier and thats why its a PLOT HOLE.

22:36 Genjutsu means illusionary jutsu....Not visual jutsu.....It can be activated through any of the 5 senses....We already saw this back in OG Naruto....When Konoha boys were trying to retrieve Sasuke, Shikamaru fought Tayuya, who activates Genjutsu through flute sound

At the end of the episode you said with tears in your eyes that you are weak, that's not true. Showing feelings is not weakness, but strenght, in this day and age there are very few people like you and that's why I like you so much. As for the episode, well, you can say that it's summary of a certain era in this anime, which is very fitting for the last day of this year. yeah jiraya showed a power that surprised everyone at first watch... but honestly, there were signs of how strong he really was. remember there were only 2 people itachi didn't wanna get in a fight with: jiraya (he told kisame to retreat when they first went after naruto in og naruto and jiraya showed up), and might guy (in og naruto when he and shark boy showed up in the leaf for the 1st time, he played with asuma, kurenai and kakashi, and immediately gave up on fighting them when guy showed up; also in the 1st shippuden arc, he told the akatsuki members to never underestimate guy)

It did not use to hit hard when I saw it the first time, but that was mainly because I was a pretty messed up teen back then, nowadays, gets me every time. I hope you got quite well through that and it is okay to cry about that you shouldn't be ashamed and there is nothing wrong with you. Just let it all out and know that it hit me for days when I saw it the second time, as an adult man. It is also understandable that you wanted to end the episode as fast as possible, although I like it when reaction channels elaborate on some of the stuff afterwards. As a first time watcher to your channel much respect on the episode pick and timing as a way to end your year. Pervy sage is my favorite in the show and it hurt me watching this.
