The great thing about your "style" is that it's so simple, just copper wires and LEDs etc yet it turns out to looking very beautiful, and most importantly it's unique, Keep up the great work. also What soldering tip are you using? it seems like a 900m-t-3cf or a 900m-t-2cf, Am I right?

Hello Jiri, could you please tell me what kind of double sided tape that you are using? The kind that I have been experimenting with gas been leaving a sticky residue that is resistant to the flux remover that I use, so I have to go through the extra step of soaking the peice in soapy boiling water for a half hour to remove it. Not only does this process add more time to each peice, It has a noticeable effect on the shine of the solder joints. I would really appreciate your advice on this matter, because I am rather stuck on this. Anyways, your videos are always very high quality and your products are beautiful. Thank you for what you do.

Nice video! But how do you current limiting LED's with 2V forward voltage if you use that? The coin cell battery delivers 3V and some LEDs can't take more than 2V. Just wonder :) Just for clarification. I know how to current limiting leds, but i just wonder how you inplement resistors etc. in your designs. :)
@TheMlg556 Жыл бұрын
late reply, but I don't think there is any current limiting resistors etc... he is relying on the fact that the coin cell can't put out that much current anyway to damage the LEDs in a short time. arguably, a current limiting resistor would prolong the LED's life, but not sure by how much.

Can a person wear this necklace without any protective things. I mean the copper can touch the human body. I assume that the current is not enough to hurt a person right? Sorry for English.

Jiri how can they work with a 3V battery if the yellow led works at 2.2V?
@FathinLuqmanTantowi4 жыл бұрын
excess voltage is ok but be mindful of current iirc, some electric supply will drop voltage is overloaded.

Internal resistance of a coin cell battery is high enough to act as the resistor they need. Limits the current.

Use another soldering station or make sure that the tip is isolated from the mains , and dont apply heat for too long.
