That's very interesting about YG and ISO certification. Most people aren't aware of it, but ISO (International Standards Organization) certification means that all your major organizational operating procedures are documented and followed. It gives you a chain of accountability so you can more easily identify what happened if something goes wrong. I had to go through this in a different industry and it takes a major effort to standardize and document how your company performs a task. A recent illustration of this is Hybe's Bang sending the poor schmuck from Be-lift to the Assembly hearings only to discover a market report had been sent out that he was unware of. This means someone didn't follow procedures for getting the report to the boss, or that there weren't any formal procedures followed for getting material to higher ups, which meant the chain of transmission broke at some point at that time and they'd have to trace back and see who screwed up instead of just looking at who had the report and who it should have been passed to next. I know this is a little nuts-and-bolts geeky, but when you have a huge corporation with tons of people handling and moving information, it makes operations a lot smoother and mistakes or chokepoints easier to identify and correct. It also gives outside investors a lot more confidence in how your orginization is run. It was a smart move by YG doing this.
