Oh look. You're wrong. If only Joe Rogan's ideas were challenged on podcast. Or maybe if you weren't to accept them wholly unchallenged. I mean, one of the goals for lots of vegans like Earthling Ed is to turn the land that is wasted through animal agricultural back into wild land. It’s all about gli ingredienti. Italians eat pasta every day, sometimes twice a day. On average they are eating pizza once or twice a week. Italy has a national obesity rate of around 10%, compare that to ~40% in America. Similar to Mikey, I cook authentic Italian pasta dishes for my family almost every day (lunch or dinner) and Neapolitan pizza at least once a week. Bear in mind, classic Italian dishes don’t often use rich, over the top ingredients like heavy cream or butter. You have to understand, if you are cooking with artisan pasta, DOP San Marzanos, high quality hard cheeses like parmigiano reggiano or pecorino romano, high quality EVOO, organic herbs and spices, etc. you are consuming some of the healthiest, most nutrient dense food on the planet.
