Yeah, This band just popped up on my youtube...There went the afternoon, evening and going into the nightl. I got Mofrooooed bad. If I ran, I'd die...danged "this river" pulled me in like ripe tide. Feels like I've known JJ forever. Sings right into your soul. I have a hard time not looping the same song or two over and over just to catch the full impact of the hooks and riffs. Any recommendations of favorites?

I guess I'm the newb here. Lol. Went to see Whiskey Meyers last weekend in Wilmington, NC and JJ Grey & Mofro opened for them. I had NO idea who they were. Had ask the lady next to me, "Do you know who this band is with the rooster symbol on the bass drum?" My first indication something was happening was when half the audience stood up and started going nuts when the band walked out. The vibe changed instantly. Then JJ started to sing and I was transported to church!! I had my soul cleansed and am now a huge fan. Immediately purchased tix to see them days later in Raleigh, NC. Amazing live!

Thank You. Just Saw them in Little Rock a couple of weeks ago. Could not believe I was going to be able to see them. I had heard him on a speaker an electrician was carrying on his tool bag. I had to ask him "Who is that?" It was about 5 months ago. I would have never experienced this awesome music . AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!

He is on tour now. Saw him in Little Rock 4/27/22. Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will probably go to St. Louis this fall to see him again.

Ashamed to say that I had no clue these cats were around. I have submerged myself in the music of JJ and the Mofro. Im not sure who's fault it is that I havnt heard these guys before. We get stuck with the music that is fed to us. I have to thank KZbin for sliding Lochlusa into my mix and apolagise to my friends and family for making them listen to it over and over again. I have not looked into their tour radius to see if they ever make it out to the Bay area but will definately go see them if they come West (after this covid shit)

I do the same to my friends and family. Some of them appreciate it and others just roll their eyes. The amount of great artists I've discovered because KZbin slips them to me is worth the annoyance of the commercials. Here's to good music, cheers!

I like this bluesy rock and all the instruments, bonus is this man can play guitar, tambourine, harmonica, & probably anything. True musicians play instruments and sing. Most just sing now aways. I'm really digging this group. Just found them last year. Hell, they've been out a long time!

The Rock Palast has some of the best live performances on KZbin. As for JJ, he's the Bee's knees, I wish he'd make it out to the West coast more often..........he should of done the Super Bowl, Hell Yeah!

I've been listening to JJ Grey for years...always a pleasure when I put them on in the morning while cooking breakfast or in the evening while cleaning and cooking supper,. However the sound guy needs to focus in when each player is playing alone and turn the sound up. You know when their introduced individually and that player is the one playing..TURN THE SOUND UP ON THAT PLAYER, and when they start playing together tune them in together. It's still absolutely great!
