A couple of weeks ago, I took my daughter and her boyfriend to see JJ Grey & Mofro at the Kalamazoo State Theatre and we were not disappointed. I've been listening to JJ since 2010, so my daughter has grown up with JJ but her boyfriend had never heard the band. Needless to say, he was an instant fan and left the show with the new album on vinyl and a couple of CDs. Seeing JJ in concert is like going to church... you just feel better about life and the world. It was a great night of music and bonding.

I am typing through my tears at this beautiful rendition of this song and would love for y'all to dedicate this and This River to the 2 of them...

My heart hurt hearing this. Covid was a nightmare and I was separated from my mom who was my hero. She passed 2021. I was her caretaker for the yrs she needed me and I think it was cruel to keep family apart as they were leaving us. And what made this worse was my brother who we all lived here in same driveway for all these yrs and was handicapped, unable to walk without assistance was murdered by his life long friend who he let live under his roof for free knowing the heartache it would put us thru. My mom followed him months afterwards. I felt your tears and I am sorry that you had to go through this . Stay strong. I wish I could go back before 2020.
