We have been fortunate to have seen JJ Grey and Mofro 8 times in the past two years. Recently on Sept. 11th, 2010. These guys are now the top on my list, and not only are they all some real genuine guys, the crew too. Yep. I have seen (and booked) about 150 billion times since the early 2000's and I have to say that JJ's evolution as an artist and musician is incredible. I love the old Mofro stuff, but every time he brings a new album out I am again totally amazed. He is an inspiration to me as an artist, and to other musicians everywhere. I am constantly spreading the gospel of JJ Grey now hear in Europe, covering a couple of Mofro tunes, and spreadin' the vibe to places like St. Petersburg, Russia.

well..... i became a father last night. 7/5/17 at 10:37pm. my girlfriend and i made a playlist that consisted of over 5 hours and with her being the one actually giving birth to my son she had picked a good majority of the songs that she liked to keep her calm, i had a chance to sneak in a few..... well only 2 to be honest. A vascular surgeon i work with (who is also a musician) had 'Lochloosa' playing during a case. I walked into the room and was instantly hooked to this man's wonderful voice. I really like his look, bad dentition and all, because it adds to the absolute genuineness (sp) of who he is. He has become more produced, as they say, but he still touches my soul.
