Expansion didn't add 90 guys to the NBA FYI. Those teams came 4 and then 2 six years later, and they drafted off other teams first. What DID bring 90 guys to the NBA was going from 12 man to 15 man rosters, where ALL NBA players dont play 65 games a year...

😂what people dont understand is hard foul doesnr make the game harder to play. Its not like only one guy is allow to fould hard, remember other can kick your ass too. So its actually a level playing field. It mean it doesnt matter which era soft or hard, in fact, the soft era is harder because you cant hard foul to make up for your lack of skills. 😅

Charlotte better not hire him. How do you speak expertly on something you didn't see? That's like me speaking on the ABA against the NBA, I didn't see the ABA, I just heard they got down. You don't hand the keys of a franchise to someone who lacks foundational level common sense

The problem about comparing eras is that people do it anachronistically. This is a bad way to put things in perspective. When you juxtapose two different eras having different culture, environment, psychology, sociology, rules etc, the argumentation becomes circular.

Goat debate is stupid. Jordan was one of the first undeniable goats and set the standard, bron did it in is own way and now became the 2nd undeniable goat. There’s so many others as well. Kobe Kareem Duncan Wilt etc. we just need to appreciate greatness while it’s here.
@dustierbottoms

Wilt, Russell, Kareem were the first goats. Jordan just made a better case. I’d also like to know what makes an “undeniable goat” in your eyes
@conchobar
@conchobar 21 күн бұрын
@@dustierbottoms Exactly. Jordan was considered the GOAT despite Kareem's much longer career. As you stated, Jordan just made a better case. You can see it in the NFL when it was Joe Montana vs Tom Brady. Brady went on to win more rings, with one under a different coach, and the argument for Joe Montana died down.

@dustierbottoms
@dustierbottoms 20 күн бұрын
@@conchobar that works only if a better case can be made. Im a Montana guy, I hated Brady, but sadly, I no longer can deny Brady being the goat. If I had to win one game, I still take Montana. But Brady is the goat. Jerry rice is the goat WR…and we’ve had a lot of players after him and people make cases on their behalf (megatron, moss, TO). But none are close to rice. Just like Bron isn’t close to Jordan. Is bron a goat of his generation? For some of it yes…just like shaq was, or Duncan, or Kobe, then Bron, now jokic. That’s why I asked…what makes someone an undeniable goat?

I think that’s how every era looks at each other to be honest. Also I think every basketball player knows they carry. Smitty has a move named The Smitty, but he even came out years later saying it’s a bit of carry. Plus if they called all of the carries and double dribbles in todays game it would then be like 5 hours 😂.
