DLO did what he could, but that triple threat defense just wasn't there and drew too much helpnfor him to not be consistent offensively. I appreciate him trying and digging into the program, but with Reaves and Bron able to be playmakers, and Knecht and Reaves able to shoot. Some wing defense was sorely needed and bench help.

Fingers crossed Lakers Nation. In talking about this trade with my boys, I realized how smart it was. I think both players can come in and contribute right away. Shake has been slept on for a minute and was really good in Philly. He'll definitely help with giving us consisent scoring off the bench. DFS' game is nice too, he was kind of under Luka's shadow in Dallas, but has always been a solid role player on both sides of the court. Now we just need to lock in on JV or a possibly a younger center and we have everything we need on paper to win.

Don't forget AD, the DPOY. And Gabe is pretty good defensively, while Rui is adequate in matchups. I think the question becomes who isn't good defensively? Dalton still learning but also improving, Bron will play hard at the right times and can still bring it. AR is not a defensive stopper but they can help him now, and he isn't lazy.

Idk if you know but we have a solid all star big (AD) and one of the top 3 best players in the league (LeBron) and a solid up and coming guard (AR) the plan should be to get pieces that fit around the 3 options and to get some depth to the bench, on top of that 4 players have been out due to injuries, bros still crying because LeBron picked apart the golden state warriors mega team to stop the 3 peat 😂😂
