I love the scorching on the new Defiant after the battle. It really feels "in-show" and highlights what the armor does before hull damage really starts happening. Great battle!

I prefer massive holes appearing in the hull to show that the ship has been in a fight, instead of just having its paint scratched

Your best fight in a while. I really enjoyed that!! I loved seeing the scorched Defiant hull. The Valor is a cool ship because it’s the good guy version of the Vengeance. Aesthetically, it’s a better ship as well.

Would be good to see a *fleet* OF THESE NEW DEFIANT,s vs a cube … so as *Star fleet* Originally Intended for this class as 4 how many would depend on what *Borg cube* the new pulse phasers look & sound & work much better Also

I honestly like the Valor more than the Vengeance. Your right it looks kind of Star Warsy. It sorta has an R2-D2 look going on for it. Not surprised that you took out the Vengeance as quickly as you did. Going for their armor generator first was the best move. Strange New Worlds has filmed a cross over of some type with Lower Decks. Not sure how that one is going to play out. I'm glad the new and accurate Defiant survived both ships.

Those are some nice scorch marks on the defiant, but I'd love to see that the other way around. I don't think the computer did a good job utilizing the valor and vengeance. Their front firing weapons could be devastating if used properly.

This newer Defiant fared better than even the Defiant from the show. Although, to be fair, they didn't use that ship nearly as aggressive as they could have.

Nah... Disagree on the Star Waries ascetics... If this was using STO tactical simulation combat....I believe the Vengeance class vessels would prevail....With the exception of say maybe the Enterprise E........

0:57 nope, you arent. JJ trek DID have more advanced tech than even 2410 had simply because of what was it? 10 years of KAHN of all people helping fed to develop ACTUAL WEAPONRY AND TECH. ON PAR i would say with even the F, wich is still Starfleets most advanced warship (she ment to counter the scimitar and bortas wich are both ENORMUS and powerfull). So nope, Defiant would be slaughtered by the vengence alone, the valor in it too? Thats to much. Both ships let the F look like a shuttle in comparison (both being around 1200 m long easily as the Odyssey class is aroundish 900 to 1000 m long PLUS having the clear mass advantage (so even if the Odyssey would be longer, she nowhere near the weight of those behemoths)
