NOTES/TROUBLESHOOTING (FIRE RED USERS PLEASE READ) **NOTE ON BAD EGGS** Interacting with either Glitch Pokemon using the White Hand can cause both invisible/visible Bad Eggs in Boxes 12/13. They should be able to either be released normally, deleted using the Fast Clone Deletion method show in the video, or by putting them into a group selection with the Yellow Hand. They are generally harmless, just some glitchy data that appears as a side effect. **FIRE RED SETUP** I've made a serious error, and I didn't realize Fire Red's NINA the Nidorina has a SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT PID to Leaf Green's NINO the Nidorino. VISUAL EXAMPLE of FIRE RED SETUP (Timestamped) kzbin.info/www/bejne/aZvOlKRump6BhZYsi=rBEiatSZYaeXwlLE&t=324 This makes the setup on Fire Red different. But I've figured out a workaround: STEP 1: Take NINA the Nidorina to the Move Deleter in Fuschia City. Delete all moves but Poison Sting. (Unfortunately this does mean you'll need to do Pokemon Tower, get the Poke Flute on Fire Red, then travel down Cycling Road) STEP 2: Place NINA in Box 3 Slot 1. Enter the following Glitch Mail Message: ??? HITMONCHAN ??? EEVEE NINA should become a Level 0 Wigglytuff. Take it to the Daycare south of Cerulean City. We need to delete its glitch moves, so it won't crash the game. Don't open its summary beforehand. Take 2 steps, Remove from DayCare and it will be Level 1. This is will overwrite all its glitch moves. STEP 3: Place NINA the Wigglytuff into Box 3 Slot 1. Enter the following Glitch Mail Message: ??? MAGIKARP ??? RHYHORN NINA should become a Parasect. Take out this Parasect and give it: 5x HP UP (+50 HP EVs) 1x Caterpie (+1 HP EVs) 3x Doduo (+3 ATK EVs) FINAL STEP: Place NINA the Parasect into Box 3 Slot 1. Enter the following Glitch Mail Message: ??? EEVEE ??? HITMONCHAN NINA will now be 0x0351, which is our corrected Glitch Pokemon. I'M SO SORRY. THERE WILL BE A CORRECTED VIDEO, EITHER STANDALONE OR A REUPLOAD COMING ASAP.

box 13/14 being empty, and using the yellow hand when interacting with the glitch Pokemon are the big ones. Whenever there's a crash or bad egg or something, it's usually one of those, or a typo.

Note; item duplication can lead to bad eggs & visual glitches, dont recommend doing multiple at same time & check boxes after every single duplication. My leafgreen just got a bad egg after i was cloning rare candies using the mail glitch.

You can usually can get rid of them by selecting with the yellow hand in a group. I typically only get them if I'm not careful with the glitch Pokemon, or dupe with box 3 slot 1 empty

Yeah, you can clone any item by putting it onto your 6th Pokemon (the one without mail.) Then you try to give him Mail, and then press Start to advance past the message screen without changing the words. One of your Mail items will be consumed, you'll get a Rare Candy back, but he'll still be holding one. infinite items :)

Unfortunately Analogue Pocket doesn't seem to be compatible with FRLG ACE. Everyone I know who's tried has had issues. Works fine on GBA/DS/Lite. You can also try the latest mGBA, but you'll also need to download a gba bios.

Hmmm, it's possible German version either doesn't have the same PID on the trade Nidorino... Or maybe the index numbers of the items/pokemon names are different? I only tested the Nidorino setup on English. I know the Mr Mime setup with WANDERING (which I used in my 6IV Squirtle Speedrun video) does work on EU copies as well. I believe the word is LATSCH.

I'm actually not sure, i've never tested sending directly from my glitch-copy of Fire Red. I always trade stuff to my glitch-free Emerald for transferring. If you did want to de-glitch your game, you should be able to release the glitch mon and then it'll work like a normal game. You could also probably just do the EEVEE/HITMONCHAN mail corruption in reverse, and turn it into back into a normal species temporarily. Worth experimenting!

The "new game plus" Fire Red Leaf Green sounds incredible. I have said genuinely for years. "We have never had a good kanto game." Do to every remake having bizarre restrictions do to GF's weird idea that Kanto should be a pure experience. Is there any benefit for having Emerald with ACE to get it into FRLG. I remember when it first started someone either in the comments or reddit said you needed Emerald to do ACE in FRLG. Is there any benefit to doing it that way?

The old ACE method does have more codes, since it's been around longer. However it is so much more work to setup. Emerald obviously has its own unique targets, and easier RNG, so having ACE there is useful as well.

Corrupting into IVs is tough, but not impossible. Perfect IVs are 3FFF FFFF, and those values exceed any legal moves and go beyond the 510 EV limit. So you have to really get creative.

So i have to ask this because im running into some trouble, i had to perform the knock off step twice because i had forgotten to place Nino in box slot 1 and i had already saved so there wasn't anyway to redo it, now i have performed knock off twice and while i can create the pokemon and the game doesn't crash, it still doesn't fully execute the code and all the other steps that i followed seem to indicate that it should be working. My leafgreen 1.0 version so idk if that affects it other than the codes i have to input which im pretty sure I input correctly Does doubling the knock off glitch affect the glitch pokemon by chance and i have to restart my game over? Or like do i just keep trying with the glitch pokemon to keep seeing if it'll work?

@@arbitj9479 doing the knock off+recycle combo twice should just reduce your available mail slots down to 4. It should still work as shown but on your 5th Pokemon instead If you're having issues with the ACE execution, then there's three potential issues: 1. The wrong glitch Pokemon. It should be named a glitchy version of EAEIA like shown. It sounds like you're confident this is right. 2. A typo in the code, or the wrong version used when generating it. Make sure to double check all the tricky characters and spaces, many people who have issues just missed a single character. 3. Pokemon data in Box 13/14. You should always keep these two empty when executing ACE, aside from your glitch pokemon and the random extra pokemon you use to swap. Depending on if your save is old/new, you might also have some "ghost data." These are basically invisible Pokemon left behind when releasing/transferring to Pal Park or Pokemon Box. You can clear it by using the Yellow Hand Multi Select (select button) on a full box of Pokemon, dropping it down into box 13/14 and then moving it back to somewhere in boxes 1-12.

Hey papa jefe, big fan. I have a problem: I did all of the things u showed me, including the extra thing with NINA. Playing on German FR in console. A few codes worked from sleipnirs pastebin. But when I try to get all starter or any item via codes then nothing happens. There is no error in my box names and I only switch Pokémon with the yellow hand. Box 12 13 and 14 r empty except 13 bc there is Nina. Thx

Hmmm that is strange. If you've gotten some codes to work, then at the very least you got the correct glitch Pokemon. Double check the instructions to the codes, make sure you're using the right one for your version, entering any special characters, going to the right NPC etc... Helping can be difficult with things like this, because unless you can backup your save somehow, I can't really check for things that might be wrong.

Does Nidorino need a specific move order? I traded mine at level 16 and the first "transformation" gave me an oddish with a protein. Although I am testing this on mGBA rather than retail, so that might be it. Smooth vid!

@SpectreXS oh wait, are you on FR or LG? You might be totally fine, the pokemon and item he becomes after the first transformation are based on moveslot 1 and 2. So it will be different if yours isn't the same. Oddish + Protein is just Leer + Peck

I did Celio sapphire before nat dex and it worked. I had to put the ? In 13 slot 1 and put the party mon into the box swap then withdraw exactly like he did In the video, then the code worked. Otherwise the man wouldn’t respond.

I personally do not like when things are exclusive to GO. Especially when those things are often time limited, and pay-to-play. When events in main series games are treated like this, I don't like it either. I think every Pokemon that's ever been released should be capturable and shiny-huntable whenever it's convenient for the player. Anything less, is cringe.
