GHANAIAN WOMAN LEFT CANADA TO SET UP A RESTAURANT IN GHANA | LIVING IN GHANA
Granted Ghana foods are easily accessed should you decide to explore Ghana. Traditional Ghanaian foods like Ghana Jollof rice, Waakye, Kenkey and fried fish, Plantain and beans, Banku and Okra as well as Fufu and Soup are sold in a majority of restaurants within Accra Ghana.
However, just how easy is it to find American foods like pizza, waffles etc?
In this video we interview Gladys who moved from Canada to Ghana and has set up an amazing restaurant in Ghana where she serves American foods such as pizza, waffles, doughnuts etc.

My name is Jasmine and I have relocated from Sydney Australia to Ghana in west Africa as of the year 2020.
My parents are of Ghanaian descent and so am I although I was born in Australia. Here on my channel, my goal is to give you a real glimpse into what it’s like to live in Ghana and other parts of Africa, from the food, to the culture, to the lifestyle and everything in between. My goal is to satisfy your curiosity about Ghana and other African countries.
My prayer is that these videos do just that for several African’s in the diaspora.
Follow your bliss because life is short, follow your bliss because human life has no intrinsic value, follow your bliss because everything happens for the greater good and follow your bliss because it has all happened before.

I am a Ghanaian-Nigerian-American living in the US for almost four decades and planning to return to Accra in the next couple of years. Gladys's kind of restaurant will definitely be a great hangout for people like me to enjoy great meals and drinks. Thank you Jasmine for showing this beautiful place, please do bring out more restaurant show like this. I also commend Gladys for her decision to return home and start a business.

The restaurant looks clean and quaint. Even though Gladys was born in Ghana and raised in Canada, even she had a culture shock when she returned. Just goes to show that the cultural differences between Ghana and western countries are real and genetics and skin colour =/= culture. I wish Gladys well in her endeavours.

Wow much respect to mama Gladys. With age comes maturity and wisdom to see life from a wider perspective! Her restaurant is top notch, the attention to detail is an expression of her standards and I love and respect that! Jasmine I LOVE your dress you look stunning! Thank you again for another inspiring video reminding us that no matter where we find ourselves Ghana will ALWAYS be calling for us to come back home. This is the video that I need to remind me to keep working towards what I will set up in Ghana some day! Thank you Jasmine, blessings to you!

I'm glad she touched on the education system in Canada. It is not working. My child is supposed to be on IEP and it's not followed. I have to pay to get a private tutoring to help her stay on top on the subjects. 😢
