God Pucci is such a good villain. He has limitations but struggles and does whatever he needs to do to overcome them. He also has a clear driven goal so he’s always proactive and determined like he’s a main character

Tbh, Jojo has excellent main villains because mosf of them struggle and fight to win, and are often shown to be flawed or even weak, requiring them to be strategic

Kars, DIO, and Diavolo all barely fought until the end, and they stomped everyone until final fight. Pucci and Valentine are the only ones who would frequently go out of their way to get actively involved and sometimes struggle. I haven't seen part 8 to judge.

@@missing3434 Pucci and Valentine definitely are up front frequently clashing with characters, but Kira not so much. Kira really only interacted with Harvest boy and later main group when he got cornered with after sheer heart attack confrontation. Other than that he stays as low key as possible until final showdown. Kira seems to interact with the cast the least out of main villains (which is fine since that is his main goal). Kars and Part1 Dio both have more interactions and fights against main cast. Diavolo has more counting Bucciarati and Risotto as large confrontations then Abbachio and Polnareff as assassinations before main fight.

I don't see this get mentioned a lot, but I really love how the stand auras are drawn in Stone Ocean. I really like the more subtle glow instead of the DBZ-esqe firey style, It makes the stands pop out more.

One thing I don't understand, is that the Stand Discs are stated to be very hard to match up with users; they have to have matching ideology and personalities for any Stand to interact with the body it's placed in (which is why Jolyne was hard-rejected by Star Platinum and why Pucci even had a whole ton of Stands stored on discs, he had no hosts who could use them, again also why he never tried to use Star Platinum on his own allies). So why was it Pucci was immediately capable of making Foo Fighters activate the water boiling stand? How is it that plankton, a creature that survives by water, is in any way compatible with a Stand that effectively kills it?

Actually, I don't think they were compatible, Pucci just needed it to work for a small moment, so he literally put it down with his finger, kinda like when Jolyne was able to summon Star Platinum for a few seconds and then it got expelled, I imagine this other stand did that too right after, but that is just my interpretation
