Since this unsponsored, I will just share my personal research and I suggest also another alternative: Fjorden Grip. They are also part of Leica and their grip works with Leica apps. Non sponsored comment, just a dude wanting to photograph with my phone.

Hi, I bought one of these and like it. But I have one issue with it and I'm wondering if you have the same problem. It works great in the vertical mode. But when I use it in the horizontal mode I notice that iphone 15 pro screen can float around...go to another page or application. I don't know how else to describe it but it is a little unnerving for me. Any feedback you have on this issue will be much appreciated. Thank. I subscribed and "liked" of course.

Hmm, no I have not had an issue. I can't wrap my head around this. Anyway you could record a video and post it somewhere? I am interested in what this might be.

How does the shuttet button feel? Is it tactile enough to feel premium or it feels mushy and cheap?
@kneepayne4 ай бұрын
It's not mushy. You can actually feel a click. The plastic around it is cheap feeling but considering that it is normally inside the grip that doesn't bother me. I've used many shutter triggers that were mushy so I appreciate feeling some sort of tactile click for a change.

If only it had a dial and 2 custom buttons it would be perfect.

The phone apps would have to support the extra controls. The bluetooth signals for camera operation are limited on most cameras as most only seem to have "shutter release" signal available.

What tripod is a good combo for this phone grip?
@kneepayneАй бұрын
Not really, tho I will note that recently I came across and incident that the 1/4" female threaded hole is kind of shallow and I had one plate that had a screw that was too long and could not tighten.

Is the shutter one way or is there a half down to focus ?
@kneepayne4 ай бұрын
It does not. I’ve used quite a few Bluetooth shutter controls on iPhone and don’t recall ever coming across this feature. I’m speculating that the iPhone never supported it. Haven’t used Android in years so can’t testify for that side of the fence

Al those grips are not exactly doing what suppose to do nor ergonomic and some are way overpriced
@kneepayne4 ай бұрын
I've tried a handful (SmallRig, PolarPro) and those over-promised and ultimately underwhelmed. The biggest gripe I had is they were made for a specific model, so when you upgraded your grip/case became obsolete. This one is the first I've used that I actually carry every day. This one actually feels really good in my hand. I use the kick-stand feature all the time. And because it's on my camera most of the time, I've been able to make frequent use of the shutter control for impromptu pictures. The SmallRig was too cumbersome to carry around. The PolarPro case was way overpriced and the grip/shutter-control is limited in it's position flexibility. This grip, and similar ones, are doing it right. Keeping it simple and reasonably priced.

@@kneepayne yes, tested several, Neewer, Smallrig, Ulanzi. Some work, most other my hand is on the phone screen, shutter button in on the top and in low light, the camera moving down little the photo moving. A combination ergonomics handgrip/shutter function i like the heavy overpriced shiftcamPro, but the phone holder is terrible wobbling not sturdy.
