@RollTideRoll_GSP6 жыл бұрын
Fumanchu1 5150 Yea I don't think they have any intention of using it to cheat, it's just the way they did things back in the day and ya gotta be an experienced racer to sit when someone does jump! It does have way to much grey area though, say if you were to sit and the arms were just starting moving up and the other guy leaves. Would that be a jump or what's a jump? The arms have to be dropped completely before ya leave or do they just have to be moving? Way to much grey area especially if your from out of town and the guy who sits and they barely jump! Flash light is better and how hard can it be start off of a tree with a laser set up to red light ya when you do jump? But I wouldn't mind doing an arm drop once a year or so but definitely not all the time like they do. Way to much controversy.
@danielbrealey29246 жыл бұрын
He 100% uses it to cheat dude. Watch it again and notice how he speeds up his little routine when one of his buddies leaves early. It's SO obvious. He does it BECAUSE there is SO much grey area in an arm drop start. Bit of the ol' home cooking going on. I'm a fan of jj's too. I'm just calling it how i see it, that's all. Jj is a great dude, as long as he's not flagging a race your in against one of v is mates. Then he's a down right crook
@basedsalty69706 жыл бұрын
@@danielbrealey2924 I've noticed the same thing as well and it's part of his hustle I don't agree with it. I prefer flash lite starts personally over arm drops and chase is a race. So I think it's clear why jj da boss is doing this.

The "Arm Drop" is the only way that JJ's Group has a chance. They know exactly how he's going to do the "Arm Drop" they anticipate his timing. Even if they do leave early, JJ gets those arms down as quickly as possible. I think that was his son in the red 62 Impala, I believe that's his new car, I may be wrong. I'll bet no one that races with the JJ Group is ever late for work, they leave so early. P.S. As a side note to JJ's cousin Precious, take off your shirt.

I wouldn't even get on the brake in this race. No traction and shady arm drop tricks. Just foot brake it and go. Or sit there and win when his buddy jumps. a chase is a race is always going to benefit the starters buddies.

Whole lotta "arm UP" leaves instead of arm drops, not being called for it they will continue. Piss poor way to run a race IMHO
@dennisbrown21065 жыл бұрын
The rules are plainly stated “chase is a race” meaning if you see the other jump and you yourself take off after them, then the race is on. But if you sit there when the other driver jumps you automatically win. It’s all about self control when your adrenaline is pumping. Do you know how hard it is to not leave when the other jumps? They have a pre race negotiation and the rules are stated. If you knew anything about Memphis you’d know these guys are realer then the 405s trust fund kids. It’s not a piss poor way to run a race they aren’t there to cheat ya they are there to beat ya.
@prsquad75544 жыл бұрын
Dennis Brown idk about trust fund kids because I do like the 405 but I definitely agree with you about the rules of being real STREET racers! It’s just different rules for different parts of the country and I love watching it all!
