We Visit Bourton On The Water: UK's Biggest Tourist Trap?

This popped up in my feed this morning and I was so surprised to see it. A while back in early 2020 I had taken a trip with my rugby team from Canada to England for a tour, we stopped in many small towns along our trip but one I did remember above all else. Now being younger I did forget the name of the town and have since left it behind, however, once I watched this video, it was clear to me that this beautiful town was the one I visited nearly 4 years ago. I can't say how much nostalgia and joy this video brought and how much it brought me back to the lovely times I had in England and the UK, the amazing time I spent in wonder in that town alone was magnificent. Thanks for sharing this video :)

We love bourton on the water, have been there many times and paddled many times, and yesssss my kids watched brum and my eldest is 35 , I love that museum ❤

It’s a fun place to visit and we fell in love with that museum, being home to Brum helps of course! We would have paddled but it was a little chilly 🥶

We love the Cotswolds and yes it can get very busy but that’s for a good reason! Those penguins are everything, they do a really good penguin talk too and you got to see their individual characters 😍

The penguins 🐧 see Jason , “ Daddy, Daddy “. 😉 I absolutely adore the Cotswolds. ❤ Any plans to travel 🧳 to Paris Disneyland, when the Frozen land opens? The Frozen Land in Hong Kong looks amazing. Josh , if you look at the ham at the butcher’s, you will discover, that they actually gave you half a slice of ham because, the ham slice is twice the length of the bread 🍞 roll. They could have folded the slice in half, and you would have been quite happy.

Yes it can get very busy in summer although you can paddle in the water then too! We have been in the middle of September and we didn’t find it too crowded but the weather was still warm!

Strange to see complaints about over tourism from locals on the news today followed up with locals saying there was not enough room for coaches. I am aware some of the talk of country folk being a little slow in the head butt really?
