Just to clear this shit up,Geto's girls dont have the ability to Implant memories. That was NEVER established, they just so happened to be there and found Itadori's body. The false memories Choso got were the self-inflicted side effect of his ability to feel the changes in any of his blood-related sibilings. Choso isn't crazy and Itadori IS in someway his younger blood brother. (I can't go further due to spoilers.)

The point of the scene is that Mei Mei manipulates Ui Ui to be loyal to her. The scene is supposed to be weird and creepy to show that Mei Mei is the opposite of a sorcerer like Nanami. Nanami was a good person that sacrificed himself to protect people and Mei Mei is selfish and only cares about herself. She only cares about making money and surviving that's why she abandoned everyone as soon as she realized she can't beat Fake Geto. The higher-ups of jujutsu society never liked Gojo because they couldn't control him so now that he's gone they're going to make sure it stays that way and get rid of his allies. Choso is Yuji's brother that's why he could sense him dying the same thing happened when his younger brothers died in season 1.

Gege likes to add subtle hints which the anime even went and showed as well. Right when Choso mentioned his mother, curse who impregnated mother, and Kenjaku it quickly showed Yuji right after sort of praising Yuji as Sukuna’s vessel. It’s clear that them showing Yuji after was a subtle hint. He’s in fact Choso’s brother. Still only subtle.

For anyone confused about what Geto did I can explain. He created two different kinds of HUMAN sorcerers, using two DIFFRENT methods. The first one was using Mahtio's Idle Transfiguration on Tengen's barriers that cover all of Japan. Doing so Geto effectively created more Junpeis. As in they where regular degular people ,from the modern era, (at most they could see curse spirits) who now have access to Curse Energy and Innate techniques. The second method was him creating more Yuji Itadoris. These people where fed cursed objects housing ancient sorceress. Like Sukuna (or even Choso and his siblings) but obviously less powerful. Unlike Yuji these people fed said curse objects wont be able to retain control over their body. So now we have old powerful sorceress walking around ready to scrap. They sure as hell dont care for modern conventions of morality and ethics. Or as Geto said "malevolent Yuji Itadoris." Theres more but the anime will cover that in Season 3.

Goated comment. One question: are the resurrections part of his pacts with the sorcerers, or are the details of the pacts meant to be mysterious for now? Re: confusion, I think the gist of your explanation is clear in the ep, but sometimes awkward translations and the order of statements can make processing them take a moment. I also think forgetting Sukuna is a sorcerer is very common, so when ppl hear that cursed objects are in these ppl, and that they'll be like Yuji, that realization is lost. On that same train of thought, saying that they'll be like Yuji also makes it sound like they *will* be in control of their bodies for the most part, because Yuji is.

to explain what geto meant by the 1000 itadoris thing, the people he marked before are vessels in a way just like itadori and some of the sorcerers he’s been making pacts with over the last 1000 years will be reincarnated to some of the bodies of the marked people. When he used idle transfiguration on everyone he basically gave them cursed energy/cursed techniques the same way mahito did with junpei in season 1. So basically sorcerers from the hein era are being reincarnated and there are also new born sorcerers who gained new powers

Choso explains that he's able to sense the state of his brother's bodies, he was able to sense when his brothers were killed by Itadori and Nobara and he had the same feeling when Yuji was about to die, the natural conclusion is that Yuji is also his brother. The "memories" were just an artistic trauma response to him coming to this realization.

The two girls didn’t implant any memories into Choso, the show implies those memories were a sort of message from his psyche warning him that one of his brothers is about to die. Chose mentioned that’s how he knew that his brothers had been killed in the fight with Itadori and Nobara to either the last surviving “Natural Disasters” (Jogo, and Mahito) when they were discussing who gets to kill Itadori, or to Itadori when they started fighting in the bathrooms (honestly so much shit happened in this season alone I’d have to go back and rewatch just to say for certain). Todo’s “Highschool Flashbacks” (further reinforced by his “J-Pop” style beat down sequence with his Idol on Mahito.) are just a result of him being actually mentally unhinged, not Itadori possessing some sort’ve memory implanting/altering or illusion type curse technique. Without giving Manga spoilers I believe the newest chapters are getting around to possibly revealing Itadori’s true Curse Technique (ch. 246)

Here's a thought for Anime onlys that have already accepted it as a fact that Choso is Yuuji's blood related older(half?) brother, which is only possible if at very least, they share a parent: Brain-kun heavily implied that he was a body hopper. It means that 15-16 years ago, he was involve as a parent in Yuuji's birth. Does Yuuji have 3(one being a cursed spirit) parents like Choso? Most likely not because he cannot use curse energy before eating Sukuna's finger. So if there are only 2 parents, Brain-kun at one point was either Papadori or Mamadori.

Them not letting Gojo out is sorta explained back when Mei Mei saw “Geto” in the tunnels, and the thought process she had. It’s like this: 1. If Geto is alive (nobody else knows about the body-swapping sorcerer), that means Gojo didn’t kill him. Gojo said he killed him, so that means he must have lied. If he lied, then for some reason he was always secretly on Geto’s side. 2. They don’t know how he was sealed, only that it happened. Therefore, they don’t care why he’s in there, but as a criminal sentenced to death that they can’t kill they’re content with leaving him. Also remember from before Shibuya: someone within the higher-ups, maybe even multiple people, are on the side of this fake Geto. It’s likely that they’re capitalizing on the disaster to gain influence and basically screw over the good guys.

Higher Jujutsu society's beliefs and wants were made possible by "Geto's" plan. They hated the power Gojo had over them and him being sealed is an issue they don't have to deal with. Now with Gojo sealed, Yuji's protection is now gone meaning the higher ups can deal out a plan of their own without interference. In a way, it's almost as if the shibuya incident did as much to further along both the plans of cursed spirits and corrupt jujutsu society. I'm so excited to see what will happen in the coming season and cant wait to see how the story unfolds

To give you context about the last scene Yuji is now wanted by the law, he's a fugitive. So he's now just hunting all the curses he can, so when he thinks he has exorcised enough curses, he will surrender himself to the sorcery society. Choso is with him. Next season starts with Okkotsu hunting Yuji in that city

Once you think about it the jujutsu top brass making Gojo a co-conspirator makes sense, till now they have been forced to obey all of Gojo's whims and wishes as he was the strongest sorcerer and they couldn't oppose him, now however they have a way to conveniently keep him from not interfering while not actually killing him .They only said that unsealing him is a criminal offense which means they want him alive and sealed so they may unseal him only if its absolutely necessary.

About the notices "not making sense", it's been stablished since the very beginning that the higher ups in jujutsu society hate gojo and are very prone to corruption and manipulation, so the second gojo was away they took advantage of the situation and labeled everyone who was a nuisance as criminals, as well as criminalizing the very act of releasing gojo

For anyone having a hard time understanding what the heck fake geto was talking about, hear is what went down: In this episode Fake geto awakened two types of new sorcerers: 1. 1000 civilians that have become host to ancient legendary sorcerers. (like yuji and sukuna) 2. civilians who have potential that have been given powers using idle transfiguration (Mahito’s technique. exactly what mahito did to junpei in s1) he was able to get 1000 legendary sorcerers into the civilians by activating the cursed objects in them remotely (why tsumiki fushiguro “woke up”) . In order to get those cursed objects, he previously made binding vows with those legendary sorcerers throughout the years..however whatever he vowed in exchange became null once he swapped bodies. These civilians are fucked because yuji is a VERY special case where he can hold sukuna back but most people can’t, so right now there’s a bunch of super strong sorcerers from heian era (golden age of sorcery) in control of a 1000 people. As well as a bunch of random civilians with jujutsu powers. Fake geto’s grand intention for all this is currently unknown but he did say something about “creating chaos” “optimizing cursed energy” having these people kill each other, and “the golden age of sorcery.” Beyond that we don’t know why.

38:56 to explain this for basically everyone because a lot of people think it’s just the higher ups being petty because of gojo and think their just throwing him under the bus. They think GETO is really ALIVE. They think he’s been alive this whole time. They don’t know about the curse brain in his body. So in their eyes gojo never killed him after his fight with yuta in the movie. So with them think gojo never killed him like they thought he did, they assume gojo is an accomplice since geto was his bestfriend and for some reason gojo kept him “alive”. Also if gojo is released from the seal , all the curse spirits that are going rampant in the city will become stronger thanks to gojo being free. Just how it was explained earlier this season , when gojo was born all the curses grew stronger just because of his existence. So if gojo gets out they will become stronger due to his presence. Then the guy with the sunglasses since he’s basically gojos right hand man, they jus assume he also played a role or he at least knew of gojo & getos “plan”. Don’t get me wrong gojo and the higher ups don’t really like eachother, for one gojos knows that they really aren’t all that good then for the higher ups they don’t like that gojos back talks them and doesn’t listen to them. But that notice and all those new updates weren’t out of just pettiness, they have legit reasons

Those girls have nothing to do with this, I won't say anything else cause of spoilers. Choso and Yuji ARE BLOOD RELATED, but the reasoning by Choso is very convoluted, so I understand the confusion there.

Not a spoiler Choso and Itadori are 100% blood relatives - Choso couldn't possibly have sensed Itadori's imminent death after the the bathroom fight if they weren't related. It's literally the exact same feeling he experienced when his other brothers were killed at the end of season 1. Some clarification regarding Fake Geto's use of Uzumaki - it requires cursed spirits as 'fuel' to power it, so Mahito himself was basically 'used up' in the attack against Miwa. Because Mahito was a special grade curse however, fusing him with Uzumaki allowed Fake Geto to extract his technique (Idle Transfiguration) for a single use. Having now used Idle Transfiguration to enact his plan to unleash "A thousand malevolent Yuji Itadori's", Fake Geto can't use it again in future. Basically, Mahito may reincarnate as a new curse centuries in the future, but for now both he and his technique are gone completely.
