Air ducts are usually coated with zinc which is the one thing Homelander can't see through, and I'd assume that the performance going on would've hindered his hearing since Starlight does the same thing in Season 3 to plot against him. That bloody metal thing on the table is apparently used for lobotomies. The idea is that Sage is literally turning her brain off to relax. Similar to Homelander’s strength, Sage’s intelligence isolates her from others and she doesn’t know to how to relate. Turning her brain off is her coping mechanism. This also explains why she was watching trashy reality television that perpetuates negative black stereotypes and wanted to watch Transformers 2 with the racist robots. Why would someone who criticized Homelander, Vought, and Firecracker for their racial biases yet have no problem with those same biases overtly displayed in reality TV and Transformers 2.

I typically read a few comments before I watch the video and this seemed like a really weird take. But watching it in context I get what Spidey meant. I like the dynamic between Starlight and Firecracker in that Firecracker is the alt-right Starlight. They even have similar powersets with Starlight being way more powerful. You can tell that Firecracker is envious of the status that Starlight was able to attain ever since Starlight told that vicious lie that ruined Firecracker’s trajectory for success. She has fixated on that so much that she has resorted to peddling stories to the alt-right so she can still be an “icon.” It’s also ironic that Starlight spread a lie about Firecracker trading sexual favors to get ahead and Starlight was accused of that after she was sexually assaulted by The Deep. Hopefully this new dynamic brings out the best in both characters

In regards Firecracker being so ruthlessly bullied at age 13, people need to remember that was during her formative years, and in a period of life when kids witness other kids getting away with things that as an adult would get them arrested or shamed out of the community. The three Homelander personalities do confirm one thing. He Genuinely cares about Ryan. Three voices. His anger/Paranoia, his humanity/empathy, his voice of Reason and drive. And you can acutally see those parts of him several times. You can see his love for Ryan where he looks like he is about to cry when he is scolding Ryan or when he meets the doctor who made him. Well his anger and sociopathic tendencies are always on display. And the last one we rarely see but it's prominent in a few moments. - His respect and acknowledgement of Soldier boy's strength as well as his fear from him. The only person he actually feared. - His respect for Edgar's bravery and intellect. - His respect and tolerance of Butcher. Not only Homelander doesn't instantly kill him when Butcher insults him on his face (something he nearly kills A-train for) but he considers him an equal and challenges him in S3. Hell even now he doesn't just kill him to stop Ryan from meeting him. It's like Yuujiro Hanma. He maybe arrogant but he can acknowledge others. Just give Anthony his Emmy.

18:55 Good job, Rana! 19:48 He wasn't just around, he was supposed to meet up with them. 22:34 It's an orbitoclast, so she must be lobotomizing herself. I guess she basically makes herself dumb to quieten her thoughts. When you're smart it is hard not to actively think about everything and it must be excessively worse for her. 31:41 Yep, when he fought Annie before his heart gave out he zigzagged to avoid her light blasts. I think he could probably dodge Homelander quite well, but I doubt he could do anything to Homelander himself, so he would just be buying time until he runs out of stamina. 33:33 But how do you enforce your regulations? What if you have another Homelander and he just refuses to comply? Who's going to stop someone that is so strong, even among supes? There's not really a way to reasonably have supes be a thing if we think about it, because if there's supes, there's also super villains. It's inevitable and ultimately they'd do more damage than good. 43:33 I think they just want to make it clear who they're actually making fun of, since there's still those type of people watching who still somehow did not get it yet and think they're doing some "both sides" kinda shit.
@cannedsquasher5923
@cannedsquasher5923 3 ай бұрын
They are doing both sides jabs though? Lol. Mostly jabs towards the alt/far right. But there are still jabs at the left. So you think the "sensitivity readers" that the dude told A Train about and all the pandering shit with media and whatever are a right wing thing? No. That is ALL left & they make fun of it. The right don't give two shits about diversity or "sensitivity." They are just super focused on the MAGA nonsense right now because it is a very easy and absurd real world parallel.

Do you really think the jabs towards "sensitivity readers" how Vought super panders to groups is a jab at the right? That is all the left. The right don't care about stuff like that. They poke fun at how fake all this pandering stuff left wing companies are. They don't actually care about the groups they try to pander to, they just want their money lol. They do take jabs at both sides. They focus on the right more cause imo it is much funnier. But they still take jabs at the left. The sad thing is you probably don't even realize it is a jab. Just one recent jab at the left I think episode 2 in the A Train movie set when the producer/director (don't remember his name). He mentions "sensitivity readers." This is a left creation. The jab is too show how out of touch and worthless people who claim to care about "sensitivity" are. To people like that it isn't actually that they care about the group but rather they care about using that group to achieve a goal. Both sides are stupid I just think the right is more stupid nowadays.

So vents are lined with Zinc which Homelander can't see through and the music made it hard to hear Hughie. Although If A-Train hadn't been there he would be dead. The boys is in weird spot after S3. In the comics (which suck btw) the boys take V, they aren't the 7 level but it made them strong enough to not get immediately turned inside out without requiring more plot armor than Tanjiro had against Gyutaro. Now in the show. The Temp V is a good way to check your powers without getting permanently mutated. If it's useful you can use V to get them permanently, if it's not one dose won't do any harm. Now with Butcher and Hughie this creates a massive problem. They are Overpowered. Butcher was already strong enough as a human. With powers he would end the series. Remember, he almost gave Homelander a good fight. He would absolutely demolish every other Supe. It makes no sense for Butcher to not take Perma V. It's either risk dying from that or well die anyway. But for the sake of the story not ending in like 1 episode, we have to keep him human. As for Hughie, if I had his teleportation, Homelander would be chilling in Andromeda Galaxy.

This is the best episode so far this season, but I'm really not liking the character regression for Frenchie, Kimiko and MM this season, it's so frustrating. I mean these past 3 seasons we've seen the relationship between Kimiko and Frenchie grow, especially last season when Kimiko spoke for the first time and and made the choice to get her powers after almost dying and losing Frenchie to do good. Frenchie walked away from his past and has tried to help Cherie walk away too so him bring a drugie again while Kimiko also finds ways to cope is out of character. Even if Frenchie has to confront his past in the form of Litttle Nina, he did not need another love interest. MM is acting all high and mighty like he hasn't on multiple occasions put himself and the others in a position of nearly getting killed. It feels like the character development for these 3 characters these past 3 seasons was undone and hit with a reset. But, I’m really enjoying watching Homelander’s, Ryan’s, Butcher's and A-train’s character/ storyline development so far. Butcher is doing right in opening up to Ryan rather than drugging him or trying to control him. What Ryan needs is what Homelander always wanted and that's genuine love and affection

I like how in the last episode, A-train is filming a movie with a white savior. His older brother (whose character he defends) also roasts him on his behavior. But in this episode. Mother's Milk (a black father) asks him to make a choice. It couldn't have been anyone else from the protagonist cast. Not black savior per se, but a shout out to black men and togetherness within a community. Also if you really look at it, those people died in the name of Jesus.

Homelander likely can’t tell from his heart beating fast trope wise cause they all beat fast around him and a train is super speed either his is abnormally slow or hyper fast just sitting around. Also homelander can’t see through zinc which is what the vents have. He smells and hears a lot of people in the area and isn’t that big on killing just people who annoy him as it waste time and effort if he does get caught as much as he says he doesn’t want government used to take him out as it would be a. Pain and they can hire supers that have had like the one who touches you which might not work but some can remove senses, trap you in nightmare, it was warned by shoulder boy who is similar to homelander so it would work on homelander or atleast something similar. They have ways to contain homelander if it was him vs world so he didn’t just fly and take out the boys as they work for government. If he hit hue on “accident” it’s fine

Pretty sure that bloody pen indicates that Sage killed Ashley because she was a loose end after witnessing Homelander kill that girl for contacting Starlighter. Also pretty sure that Sage has plans for killing Homelander because she sees herself as "Ceasar", not him. Either that or she's just a straight up apocalyptist who just doesn't see any point in the world in its current existence, herself included, and just wants to blow it all up. In her mind, the point of existence itself is illogical so therefore must be eliminated. She pretty much laid out her plan/point of view when Homelander "interviewed" her. There was a reason why Vought kept her in check.
