2 days ago i woke up with unbearable abdominal pain. it’s gone now. but anyway i couldn’t move or breathe without making it worse. nothing helped but a heating pad. went to urgent care. ran tests for chlamydia and gonorrhea which i found out today were negative. they were leaning towards ovarian cysts cause it runs in my family or PID. sent me to hospital for ultrasounds. they said my ovaries were fine but found free fluid in my cul de sac, mainly in the right side where most of my pain was. this pain was shooting through my entire abdomen and into my lower back and pelvis. they don’t know what’s causing it but i found a gyno that i see tomorrow. i keep looking up symptoms to both and only the pain adds up. i just wanna rip my uterus out at this point

One week? All guidelines state that PID should be treated with at least 2 weeks of antibiotics that cover a broad spectrum of anaerobic and aerobic pathogens. The most common regime is 14 days of Doxycycline + Metronidazole. How is your wife now?

So if dysmenohria and menohragia then think Endometriosis (period related). Do laproscopy. If abdominal pain and spotting, think PID. If oligomenorhia or 2* amenorhia, think PCOS other causes of oligo/amen = functional hypothalmic amenhorea, female athlete triad, Prolactinoma (ask for nipple discharge)

I had this but I have not been sexualy active in almost 2 years. It turned into sepsis. I was put into ICU for 4 days. Turns out is was cause by using a Bidet. long story short. My German shepard drinks from the toilet and also eats cat poop from the kitty litter box. His saliva and bacteria from his mouth transferred onto the spout of the Bidet. When I used the Bidet the water gathered the bacteria and spewed up into my vagina therefor caused the infection. Even though I love my dog, I will never own another dog again. They are NASTY!

Never douch, EVER. Endocervical bacteria are implemented in PID. In many cases of PID patients that have undergone exploratory laparoscopic surgery, common endocervical bacteria have been grown from the exudate or pus collected from the pelvis and abdomen. One should not discount the fact that bacteria is able to transcend from the lower genital tract through the cervix and into the sterile environment of the upper reproductive tract this us usually possible when the cervix becomes inflamed when an infection is present. It is therefore very important that physicians understand and investigate signs of cervicitis early and lower genetial tract infections to save women from the ravages of PID. The vagina is an acidic environment and is usually good at defending against bacteria. Sometimes there can be an imbalance and bacteria are able to proliferate. More studies must be done and more education for young women must be implemented urgently as the consequences are dire.
