It's great that now we know they did stop with the 280 horsepower rule and build the ultimate car. Even now the R35 can keep up but when it came out almost 14(!) years ago it murdered the competition for half the price. Or the LFA, that car is also ultimate but in a different way.

@ironkcoony that wouldn't bee equal condition either... cause one car performs with one type of tyre better and another one with same tyre performs bad... But yea, still would be interesting ... thx for watching, more episodes coming

I'm American, the stereotype here is that Japanese cars are set up for tight twisting roads like the touge. European cars are set up for higher speed situations while still maintaining excellent cornering, and American cars are set up for Massive wide roads that go arrow straight for stretches of up to 20 miles. Kind of a spectrum of performance preferences.

@jjunfer thats right, but if u test sports cars on a race track, give the all cars track tires or street sport tires. Good tires are essential on a track, esp. around corners with 400+ hp like Porsche - anyway, thanks for uploading, didnt know this show until a few days ago.

I say to everyone as one of the Japanese these BM battles are just a battle it does not mean the car which got 1st place is most excelent car. also the last place never mean it is bad car at the on-road,people drive each own cars,and sometimes they will want to know whether their own cars are faster than the car which is their beside possibly they may try to start on-road battle at next green signal? but It won't be under the same conditions in most cases. the stock porsche VS the tuned VW? or GT-R VS racing snail? If say without fear of misunderstanding the BM battle is not the "driver's race" despite they use race track it is "the car battle that assumed on-road" and "the unfair things "from first if you hope equal condition like pure race for drivers surely, high-speed high-acceleration are important elements but BM does not seek the fastest car, they seek the awesome car of the world

not a technique, but search about why race car drivers pump the brake before a turn / after a long straight, i can't explain it properly

Yes the JDM cars had 'better' tires, but they have at least 120 Hp difference between them and the EDM and ADM cars. So If you want to criticize, then ask why they didn't use cars with equivalent HP. Plus, they only used the tires that the factory had given the cars, so they're compering the package as a whole from the factory without any tuning whatsoever.

Any car with semis or even full slicks will automatically be heaps faster around the lap. I love JDM and these videos, but you have to take them with a grain of salt as far as these 'results' go
