Now, august, so six month later I bought a similar Projector here in Thailand for 391 Dollar. Most projectors are more expensive here. I wanted to buy the Optoma HD142X, but then I have to have it shipped from the US to Thailand, which adds another 90 Dollar (Amazon)... I'm sure that it is the better Projector. On the other hand, looking at reviews from everything that gives 1080p and 3D, this one available here in Thailand for a reasonable price and with it's Android System seems to me the best choice I have. I can send it back within one week, which I will do if the picture doesn't satisfy me. Mind you, my last projector was the Optoma HD67 (from 2011) and apart from the broken chip, I was happy with it. Test results for the HD142X are very good, and also the reviews of most owners are very positive. The projector you show is sold under many brand names. Mine is called Meval DP4 and has 2GB Ram and only 8GB internal storage. Others have 16GB. But I'm not planning to install anything except a good Videoplayer on it (VLC) and won't keep movies stored on it. For that I will use a micro SD. Anyway, I have to wait another 10 days... just ordered it...

Actually my order was cancelled by the shop. Then I found the same model with the name Touyinger G4. I have it at home but can't properly use it. After ten to 15 minutes of projecting the whole machine freezes. I'm now in the proces of solving the problem with the shop or sending it back for a refund. Under the rubber in the middle is a screw with which you can open the projector. I saw that in another video. But what you actually unscrew is the top, not the bottom.

I love the circle design, what a fresh modern look. As for gpu prices, it's cheaper to go into best buy, find a open box deal oem (hp,dell etc.) keep the gtx1070 and dump the computer on Craigslist.

+Arcade Party With the way things are looking with gpu prices your not wrong, Amazon in the UK an RX580 is around 500-560 pounds. As for the projector it really is nice, just unboxed the new JmGo M6 and by far the coolest looking thing I've come across so far.

Hi unfortunately I wont be checking out the w331 anytime soon, purely because it's price it way to much with it being a WXGA resolution, when the hd142x is around the same price or the newer hd 143x is slightly over the cost of the w331 and both of these are full 1080p, I did a recent review on the hd143x - kzbin.info/www/bejne/g5akiXWig8ajpZY

M6 imo: -amazing + ergonomic design which will fit in the pocket (unlike this here) -one of a kind smartphone dock -built in remote that you always have with you I struggle to find as interesting projector, which is not only portable but pocketable, as the M6. I wish it had 720p (although I heard it doesn't make much difference the 480p in this case), all metal build (M6 is all plastic which is odd as per JmGO standards) and 2GB or RAM - then I would buy it even without your review hehe.

+alejandro valencia Like I said in the first 2 minutes of the video there is two versions of this projector, the one on Amazon and the one gearbest sell they are even know by two names. The one on Amazon has a better android version the one on gearbest has a usb 3 port it's a trade off between which you value more.

What I have managed to establish is.....weird :). Seems like there is a general design of particular projector which is made by 1 factory in millions in China. Then, different chinese companies just brand it and adjust specs to their liking (?) and sell on. They all look the same but unfo, they differ in specs and it's hard to find your head around it. Have a look at this projector and on Aliexpress of the likes of: Aodin M18, Salange T08, Smartidea M18, Thundeal T19, Touyinger G4 and so on. It's all the same design but different specs. They are also much cheaper and have much more ANSI. Simililarly the "S9 projector" design. It's plastered all over Aliexpress. Or the P8i from gearbest is AUN D5S from Aliexpress but with twice as much ANSI and other differences and so on. Yuancin D13 from UK Amazon is Aodin D13 but with more ANSI. And so on..... I guess the only companies not doing that are the best ones i.e. Xgimi, JmGO and Xiaomi.

I understand if some brands take on a mass produced product and upgrade hardware that's a little different I can live with that, but most the time different logo or packaging that's about it. What I don't show in my video's is the number of projectors I refuse on a monthly basis, for example over the past 2 months I've been asked to feature 4 different projectors that I know are GP100 without the Vivibright markings, but under different names, not forgeting the ones that are just plain poor. Brands like Xgimi, JmGo, Xiaomi are wonderful examples of good TECH made affordable. We have a little special JmGo projector review coming up shortly.

Good to know you're sensible with this and not reviewing everything in a wholesale mode hehe. This would only cause us, the consumers, confusion. yeah, we can't wait for that M6 review Mike!!!!!! ;) :D Particularly interested in comparison with the brightest pocketable projector you have reviewed so far: Yuancin D13 --> both 200 ANSI, both batteries built in, both native 480p, both high Android (7.0) and both fit in jeans back pocket. D13 has (very handy for the future) 2GB of RAM but M6 strikes back with auto focus (unseen in pocketable projectors I suppose) and built in remote and smartphone dock. Most of all though: is M6 brighter then D13 and does it have better picture quality ??? cheers

+ARKADIUSZ MIKINA The t8e is slightly sharper still in my opinion but this was just as bright even tho on paper the t8e has a listed higher luman count, need to do a daylight and get the light meter out to be sure. Is the t8e worth the extra investment yes if you have the funds, I like the user interface more on the t8e

the text and rainbow test for dlp projectors is great,any chance we can can have input lag tests for projectors with the ms readings.as there are a lot of different opinions on which projectors have good or bad input lag the gp 100 being one which some say is good for games and others say is bad.anything around 30ms or under is great for all games anything much over won't be any good for fps games online etc.
