JK BIG Brake upgrade

@@lancelaubacher5245 I would recommend going ahead and changing the master cylinder as well when upgrading….Use the big bore cylinder. Noticeable upgrade as well. Thank you for watching!!!

I bought this kit but didn't use the brake pads that came with the kit. Im using the DFC ultimate duty pads in this kit and it brakes amazing!!!!

And then…….. You put the old muddy wheel back on it. My JK had dragging front brakes at 103k miles and last week I paid a garage $760 to replace all the parts including some line and everything’s great. It would be nice just to have good brakes but possibly Jeep doesn’t agree so maybe we go another 100k miles. You can have the big ones…….and I have a garage with ALL the tools, but….. I’m old.

Any updates on difference between stock brakes and the RT's? Also, what is the performance now that they have been on a while? Thanks.

My update would be “ I wish I had done this months if not years earlier. “ I’m pretty sure I would even do this if my Jeep was stock. The bigger brakes are daylight and dark from each other. With the stock master cylinder and brake lines, it still had a little bit of squishy feeling…but even then it stopped much better….with the big bore master cylinder and braided stainless lines…SO MUCH BETTER now. I do not regret not one cent spent for this upgrade. Whatever brand you decide will not be a waste. My opinion. Hope it helps.
