excellent, clear explanation! the paralleled AGM battery complicates circuit behaviour, but represents a real world condition and is well explained. Thank you!

Excellent presentation, with clear and methodical explanation (not the usual clickbait garbled trivial stuff around - or else the presenter is talking to 9 yr old kids). Keep up the great work

Hello Park, I would like to ask you a (rather) simple question. How does OVP an UVP work. For example if I set OVP to 3.5V, when one cell reaches 3.5V the CHARGE stops but discharge still works? On the other way around - when I set UVP for 2.9V and the battery reaches 2.9V - will the discharge stops but can I still charge the battery?

Answer to first question: yes. Once a cell drops to 2.9V, discharge will stop and battery will be in standby. Battery will become active once charging current is detected.

OK but why would you design a battery with common port or with separate ports?
