Love the new intro!! Great job on the rack. Very informative on the spring and shocks. Appreciate your thought process and your thinking outside the box. Can't wait for the long arm installation on your wife's jku

I’ve seen people running the TJ springs on a WJ by cutting the curled tip off the spring, but the spring rate seems to me like it would be too light for the heavier Grand Cherokee. Found your video looking for alternatives. You say the front springs are shorter on the JK? Looking at aftermarket dual rate options.

Wouldn’t the fact that JKs weigh more than TJs have an affect on handling? I’m sure the Jk springs were engineered around the specs of the Jk. Just curious

It handles pretty much the same as it did before, and carries the extra weight of the overlanding gear and roof top tend perfectly. I thought it might ride a bit too hard when empty but the stiffer springs didn't make as much of a difference as I expected, the ride is still soft enough for a comfortable ride when empty. The stiffer spring rate is perfect for my application 👍

I'll be swapping the wife's TJ springs and shocks for JK Rubicon's when winter is over. Any tips or cautions?

Measure twice and cut once. The spring rate is perfect both empty or loaded, and do move the shock location if you can. This TJ handles so much better since the upgrade 👍👍

You got that stuff dialed.

Working on a tj 2.5L. Do you have front springs from a jk as well? Anyone did that with a 2.5L or 2.4L vs 4.0L? Just trying to figure out how much will I expect having to remove due to weight differences between front end weight between engines. Like your videos!!!

The front JK springs are not tall enough for a swap. I have done this swap on a 2.5l as well, not a big difference in rear weight. Let me know if you find a spring that works for the front 👌
