@jsbogen Agreed If you tell me that our defense only allowed Tom Brady to score 13 points, we win that game. But because we had Jared Goff, I know he made a couple of throws that the receivers dropped. But Goff doesn't have that ability to stand in the pocket brace for big hitters or extend plays. He can't do that. Stafford would have been able to make the tough throws when we needed them in that Super Bowl. Also, I have to factor Todd Gurley and no Cooper Kupp, but I believe Matthew Stafford would have been able to overcome that. With that defense, only giving up 13 points absolutely.

Do i feel like he should have let it rip on 3rd & 2, yes, but if were going to go down i want to go down with him steering the boat. I hope the Rams change their mind about Cooper Kupp but I think he is definitely not coming back after they announced it to the whole world. Not sure why they did that but I don’t think he is going to draw a bidding war if that was their angle. Maybe they can get a very good linebacker with the money saved by losing C.K. I'm disappointed by two parties having such difficulty hammering out a deal- I include Kupp in this conversation. Seems to me the Rams and respective players (agents) can be really creative with merit based contracts based on accomplishment, meeting or exceeding goals.. Kupp is not worth what he's making now? Or the same for anyone else? Let deals have tremendous incentive bonuses so a player can initially "take a hit" for the company, but get most of it back with a great year of accomplishment, Super Bowl victory, etc.. I actually think Stafford is a better QB now in his career than he was when he first came here. I think the league has adjusted to him being on the rams but he's been awesome minus a couple of games here and there. But that happens with every QB. They have forgetful days and good teams find a way to win which the rams did more often than not. People who say Stafford is cooked are the same people who think Torry Holt doesn't belong in the HOF. Dont give the haters a platform.

He’s inconsistent throwing the football, too streaky for me. I would actually be in favor of sending him to NYG for the 3rd overall pick. The OL issues is understandable but this sounds like a bunch of excuses. Puka, Cooper, Kyren, D Rob, and TuTu? It might be play-calling idk but more particularly the Green Bay and Chicago games. He has a bunch of alright games and some decent ones, sprinkle some no look throws in there and that makes him elite? We use that word too loosely. He isn’t on the tier on Allen, Lamar, Burrow. Mahomes, or even Daniels. That’s my opinion, he’s one of the better QBs in the league but elite, I disagree.

What about his arm strength because he's always short on his long ball, his receivers have to slow down because the ball is thrown short. If he had the arm strength he would've had more touchdowns. The reason why Tutu was not thrown to as much because Mathew Stafford couldn't throw the ball long enough because he already beat his man and had to slow down because the wasn't going to reach him.

You've seen Stafford roll out of pocket to throw down field to Tutu and clearly Tutu has beaten his coverage and he has to slow down because the ball is thrown short and he has to catch a more difficult contested pass because of it. If it was thrown deep enough he would catch it in stride for a touchdown by a full body length from coverage. Tutu is too fast for Stafford throws. When Stafford had an arm Robert Woods would beat his man down the field and catch it in stride for a touchdown, oh wait was that Goff. Lol. Stafford is still a great quarterback, but you can tell his arm strength has diminished a little. I hope Tutu gets to go to a team that can fully use his talent Sad to see him leave.
