I was a fan of Mac Lethal before this, but I actually lost a little respect for him over this whole battle because he went after Tom MacDonald for no reason with his tweet, and even called Tom an SJW when Mac's whole thing that started it was the epitome' of that, he also back-peddled and said he wasn't talking about Tom which everyone knew wasn't the case. Mac's been around and he's good for sure, but this was like Scru going after Church for no reason, lacks punching power from Scru and Mac's side because they both were wrong in initiating the beef.

It was a clever response because he actually backed up his statement with aspects of Tom's behavior that lead to those implications. As far as the disses on how he dresses are concerned, he's reinstating the fact that he doesn't need high production videos or edgy gimmicks to stand out: "I grab the mic and pour my soul". And the beat wasn't that great, but I think it helps show that Mac is more respective of og hip-hop and it's roots, since he always uses boombap type instrumentals.
