JKing H2C-01 board got a new homemade battery pack with Samsung 20R cells.

In this episode, I am testing my new homemade Samsung 20r battery pack for my electric offroad skateboard. Let's see how it performs related to the original battery pack and whether will I be able to get more range out with branded Li-ion batteries.

Great video, i remember watching your initial review a few years ago. Was considering purchasing the board you've got, but after watching other reviews changed my mind - most of them were saying that the battery quality is poor. That it was degrading really fast. So i decided to make my own DIY Board, i chose Samsung 30Q battery cells , I have the same ESC controller as in your board, as far as i know its 24A of current (basically how powerful the board is). Looks like with your new battery , that is much more high current than mine, you can upgrade the speed controller to make it a DIY Meepo Hurricane 😅

Yeah, Samsung 30Q seems to be a quite common choice for DIY builders. This board is still the best deal for the money it cost even with its original battery it had. And it wasn't that terrible. I still had a lot of fun times with it till, of course, it died. I am looking to keep good cells for some other gadgets I have. I just need to buy some good individual cell charger/tester to find out how many of them are gone. Will be interesting to find out the result! ;) And about Hurricane that is a completely different ball game. You can almost double every parameter of this board... :D

Hi! Sorry, but I don't have any tutorials on this one. But there are good videos on YT on how to build eskate battery packs for DIY eskates. All materials needed You can find on my website in the description. I left also notes in product descriptions to keep in mind to build a good pack. If you ever have used hot glue, know how to solder and have an overall understanding of how electronics work you will be able to do the job, but if not then find better someone locally who can do it for you. Extra caution should be taken at any step for this job!!! let me know if you have any questions. I can point to some videos as well if needed.
