Your timing is perfectly fine buddy! I have this same motor and its such a beautiful sounding motor! Im running basically the same setup hobbywing xr10 pro with this motor and a gens ace 5100mah shorty pack. My boost and timing is set at 50 degrees turbo and boost! It can handle 20 no problem!
@UldisMelderis11 күн бұрын
If you have the same motor then pay attention that it is set to 30 deg. timing on the motor itself from the factory and you never really want to go over 60 deg. total timing. This means you have a maximum of 30 deg of timing to share for boost and turbo. See my pinned comment video where I explain exactly why and what can happen if you ignore this! ;)

You can also fix your corner weight by adjusting your preload on the shocks. At my track we have the 2nd largest Japanese p tile track and many drifters adjust the shocks by adding more preload until the corner weights are more even.

I think your boost timing and turbo timing too high brother. Next time you plug in check your max rpms hit on your app if it’s above 80,000 rpms max it’s too much you need to turn down to maybe 6000-70000 rpms max turns.
@UldisMelderis17 күн бұрын
Thanks for pointing that out! It was way too high because my default motor timing is already set at 30 deg. My following video shows how I corrected it and also gets a bit in detail on how exactly timing is working.

Option 2 disassemble the machine get part numbers from the screen and do a Google search and see if you can find something. I know that Aliexpress selling something related, but you really need to dig those part numbers before purchasing anything just to make sure... If your led strip is 12 volts you need to find the + wire that will provide 12V either on ignition on state or when you turn on the lights. You will need a multimeter to find such wire. For ground wire, you can use a frame as far as I remember. It was more than a year ago when I was tinkering around Citycoco... ;) If you don't have a multimeter or you are not sure how to use it. I've tried new on/off switch and a new headlight. Neither fixed the issue. Tried to follow the wires to check if something has gone loose, but couldn't spot anything.
@UldisMelderis6 ай бұрын
You need a multimeter and check the incoming voltages to the headlight and see if they are correct. Many times issues could be a simple poor ground connection, damaged wiring loom or short-circuit also possible in your situation. Did the light work properly before? If not then it is possible that wiring is connected incorrectly.

Great video but GB sticker no longer valid, requires UK sticker
@UldisMelderis11 ай бұрын
Yes, this is coming from times when GB plates were required to change to the UK. As there are no strict requirements in the UK related to number plates and anyone can make them some plates come with the UK badge on the plates already and in that case, in many countries, no additional sticker is required. But if there is no badge on a plate then a sticker is must have. Also, there are countries if I am not mistaken like Spain that have it mandatory to have that sticker on foreign cars even if the country code is on the plate. So different countries have different requirements and they do change over time. With sticker, I can say better done than sorry... And if you are planning to go abroad it is best to look at this info before a road trip. Not everyone does that in real life or sometimes even knows that it needs to be done! Including myself back in the days when I was younger and started to travel Europe! :D
