@OmarAbdulAzeez4714, placing everyone in the KRA financial platform is what is key. All transactions should be companied with a KRA Etims receipt. That's the rollout needed and cultural change required of Kenyans. The law enacted by parliament is that all who earn 24K and below pay no tax. Left for one to declare, even Ruto would also he earns less than 24K. Does your landlord issue you with an Etims receipt? If not, why not? KRA has made it possible for even a shopkeeper in the estate, a bodaboda, Mama Mboga, etc to issue an Etims receipt. None wants to comply though.
