Thank you! Yes they are beautiful katanas. Jkoo/Sino swords do an excellent job of putting out a great product. These are custom too! To my exact specs. They both ran about $325 a piece. Which is just a great price for a custom katana. They have a good put together website too and impeccable customer service. Thanks for watching!

I think hey bind like that cuz they're not made for each sword. My unokubi was just like that. Took about a week to cut through it and stop the binding...

Good to know about the binding. Yep I'm digging them so far. The small tsuba is a first for me. They both feel good in the hand but that unokubi is somethin incredible!

Yeah I was pretty happy. I had to wait extra long cause I ordered them right before the chinese new year. And china shut down their economy because of covid then the U.S. stopped most of incoming trade from them. Did you like your St. Nihonto?

nice blade, the ito has me worried though. not sure if its just poor lighting but it kinda just looks like cheap cotton, like shoelaces. Hate to spend $400 and not atleast get decent psuedo silk lol

Thanks it is pretty nice for the price, imo. Good eye too! Cause the ito is not the color or the texture of the pic on their website. But it is a thicker cotton and wrapped very tight. So that's good. Other than that, the blade is sound.

Dang Jkoo does good work for the price, nice tsuka wrapping on both. Got a 31" custom 9260 O-katana coming from them sometime in June, this sure does make the wait harder hahaha.

@@Katana-Karl Thanks haha, should have some interesting targets by then to test it out on. Was surprised it only ended up being $175 without shipping. Guess there really is a lot to be saved by buying direct from manufacturer instead of through a store. No beautiful hamon but that is the price paid for through hardening. Jkoo seems to get really pretty ones brought out in their T10 blades.

How long it take you from order till you received them? I ordered a custom katana in the beginning of April and Van said it would take 2 months.

All my other katana form them took exactly 2 months. But these two took 3 to 4 months because I ordered them right before the Chinese new year (China takes 22 days off for this) and then they shut down country for virus. The saya is one of their options when you go to Sinos custom katana page on their website. They have like 20 different saya to choose from. Something tells me we would get along pretty good as neighbors! Lol!
