ये व्हिडिओ डेखते ही मुझे मेरे ४७साल पहलेकी सफरकी याद आयी. मैं महाराष्ट्र से हु. सन १९७७मे ये सफर १२घांतेमे पुरा किया. सिंगल रोड होनेके बावजुद उस समय ट्रॅफिक कम होनेसे ट्रॅफिक जामका सामना नहीं करना पडा.श्रीनगर जाते वक्त ड्रायव्हर बिलकूल शशी कपूर जैसा ही था.अभी तो पुरा माहोल बदल गया.उस समयका पुरा जंगल कट गया.

I travelled from Shrinagar to Delhi in 1985 which took less than 24 hours then..it was old highway and you could see many mountains, rivers around ..it was a natural beauty.. The journey between Jammu and Shringar and vics versa was allowed during day time only. No nigh journey. Everything seems to have been spoiled in the name of development.

Revival of my old memories. I have for the first time travelled in SRTC bus from Srinagar to Jammu in 1978 in connection with my admission out side J&K.It was my first trip outside Kashmir. There were two types of buses . A class and B class. The fare was Rs 17 for B class and Rs 21 for A class. I was in B class. It was a twelve hours journey from Srinagar to Jammu.
