Hello and greetings from my side. The bus you travelled in is a 2002 model Tata 1510 bus. This bus is built in traditional style which is unique to Kashmir only. New buses are built in modern style. This bus is affiliated with Western Bus Service. Western Bus Service and Kashmir Motor drivers association are the two private bus operators of Kashmir valley. WBS operates in north Kashmir and KMDA operates in south Kashmir. This bus was a full stop bus. You should have opted for a non stop bus which doesn’t stop anywhere other than its destination.

@@HimbusIn the past It also used to ply in rural and hilly regions of Jammu province also......The only difference was the sign board used in these buses in Jammu region was in HINDI. The buses were operated under banner of KATHUA Motor Transport company .

It was fun to travel in these buses.Popularly known as KMD bus,it used to be well decorated.Lately some would have TV set installed also.

In last week of september 2023, i visited gulmarg and baramulla with my family, by my friends car who is resident of sub urb of baramulla. We visited his home and had lunch there in kashmiri style. They are very good in hospitality. We enjoyed a lot. Baramulla is very serene town. I would love to visit again.

Bro instead of wasting time at jahangir chowk waiting for Baramulla Bus, you could've gone directly to Batamaloo( few meters ahead of jahangir chowk) and could've boarded a Sumo (directly to baramulla). It takes only one hour if you travel using Sumo service. Any ways Explore Baramulla my hometown. Loved your video. ❤❤❤

Any one from nadaun, must be knowing in 90's A similar bus was plying between Pathankot and Deotsidh (Baba Balak Nath) ... chinyot or jubli was the bus name. Nostalgic ;)
