Looks great! Just placed my order for a custom steering wheel for my Sting Gray Rubicon partly because of yours and a few other videos. Mine will be very similar to yours except that I ordered regular carbon fiber instead of matte and I also ordered the matching red stitched airbag cover to get rid of the silver Jeep logo. I’m sooo excited! Besides my 40 inch tires and lift, I think this will be my favorite mod. Like you mentioned in the video, it’s something you’ll constantly be using. I also ordered the carbon fiber 8.4 inch radio bezel and floor/drink console. I’m just so-so on those. But I thought it would be a good idea to not have the steering wheel be the only thing carbon fiber in the vehicle as to not make it look out of place. Hopefully I receive them soon so that I can quickly determine if I made the right decision lol. Thanks for the very helpful video!

Thanks! It’s a mastercraft tool set so it’s nothing special. Department store brand lol. It lifetime warranty so can’t complain for the price. It’s usually $499 but I paid $159

Is it possible to put the steering wheel back on crooked, or is there something to make sure it only goes on one way?

Definitely possible, gotta make sure you line it back up how you took the other one off or your steering wheel will be crooked. I had this happen on my Honda civic when I got a new wheel for it and I had to take it back off and move it one tooth over on the splines

@@SmokinMonkeyOG I think I’ll put some masking tape across the two parts to mark the alignment. BTW, are you still sitting on your take-off steering wheel? I’m looking for the leather part in good shape, red stitching heated 2020-2022.

No you would need to get a renegade wheel if you have a renegade. None of the electrical will work

Any car mod is a waste of money, cars work fine how they’re designed from the factory. It’s all about doing things that make it more appealing to you and your tastes. If I had to I would do it 100 times over, it’s the thing you interact with the most in the vehicle and it gives me a more enjoyable driving experience. But not everything is for everyone I get that. I wouldn’t put an angry eyed grille on my Jeep if someone paid me lmao
