I run ABC tire beads on my 33s 10 oz each. One of the best mods I’ve ever done. No vibrations at all. These ABC beads are a little different from others. They are actually made from tempered glass with silicone coating. They actually create static and want to stay in place until vibrations cause them to spread and level where needed.

I think the beads works great, you mentioned slow acceleration and moist climates, I live in Toronto Canada we have wet springs and humid summers and I've never had an issue not to mention I installed them in my motorcycle (CB750) not a crotch rocket but also not a cruiser I have gone from 0 to 100k (60mph) in a matter of seconds I've even done over 200k (125mph) without an issue

Rule of thumb for quantity of beads per tire is one ounce for every thirteen pounds of assembled tire weight. You can't really put too much in (within reason), but you can end up putting too little in and it being fairly ineffectual. So I would lean toward rounding up. Err on the side of too much rather than too little. I would round it to 1 oz per 10 lbs of assembled wheel weight. Ex - a 100lb wheel would take 10 oz of beads... rather than 8oz using the 1:13 ratio... just my take on it...

I'm running 375/65R-16 (36x15.50) MTZs on my 2003 Superduty. They weigh 86lbs. At around 40mph it's horrible. The shop that installed my lift and mounted the tires said that's all they could do with them.. Between the BDS lift kit, and the tires and rims, I've got the best of everything.. I don't want to wear it out because they can't get one tire balanced!! I just learned about the beads and I'm going to try it...

Not all tires have a yellow or red dot. The yellow dot marks the lightest point on the tire (weight) while the red dot marks the tallest part of the tire (height) if the tire is slightly out of round. Molding tires is not a perfect art. Tires don't always come out of the mold perfectly balanced or perfectly round. QC checks all tires to make sure they are within specs. Some tires do come out perfect on weight balance and roundness... in which case they will not receive either dot. If there's a light spot that'll get marked with a yellow dot. If there's a taller spot/slightly out of round that will get marked by a red dot. Some tires might only get one or the other, red or yellow, while some might get both.

Ya, if you can slip the bag in that's the best imo...no loose beads til the tire is all buttoned up... less chance of getting a bead or two stuck in your rim bead and causing a slow leak. The other option would be to use an appropriate sized funnel with 10 or 12 inches of clear vinyl tubing attached and shove that down in the gap and pour them in...

The problem I have encountered with balancing beads is about temp and dew point gradients in the winter. When the dew point inside the tire is lower than outside, moisture in the air n the tire precipitates and falls to the bottom. Then, it freezes and clumps the beads. Obviously, this results in extreme imbalance.

Nitrogen-filled tires are advantageous because nitrogen gas doesn't support moisture or combustion.
