jlisa25 true but a lot of people are probably fans of the Tom selleck version of magnum P.I. so the hate is half understandable since the reboot is well a reboot. A lot of people probably aren’t judging Magnum P.I. 2018 as something separate from the original one it’s happened twice before. Same thing happened to Macgyver 2016 and Hawaii five o 2010 those 2 shows are also reboots and also have haters because of the haters mainly being from the original versions of those two shows and Hawaii five o 2010 lasted almost just as long as the original Hawaii five o the 2010 one was only 2 seasons behind the original one,macgyver 2016 isn’t that far behind the original macgyver either. The 2018 magnum P.I. still has a ways to go since it’s only so far up to season 3 renewal wise but all 3 storylines are just as good as the original ones A lot of people judge reboots as reboots and aren’t separating the reboots from the original tv series. Some people just don’t know how to separate reboots from the original storylines. All 3 reboots are proof that reboots of old tv series work as long as the storylines are good and interesting storylines with the right cast to play the characters since the original actors to the original tv series are too old for their old characters. Plus Tom Selleck is still on tv he just eventually went on to do blue bloods aka another cop show on cbs with Donny Wahlberg. He’s not too old to be in cop shows he’s just too old for the character of Magnum for a reboot. Since the first magnum P.I. was in the 1980’s when he was young enough to be Magnum. Plus even then the 1980 magnum P.I. only did 8 seasons I think and the reboot as long as it stays good and interesting has a chance of going on past 8 seasons. The 2010 Hawaii five o reboot did 10 seasons and the original one had like 12 seasons so that’s still good for a reboot. The original Macgyver only had like 7 seasons and the reboot Macgyver is up to season 5 so it’s just 2 seasons behind the original one. Also Ncis has like way over 17 seasons since it has like 2 or 3 spin off series aka the longest running tv series franchise ever. But still counts and proves what good storylines will do with the right cast will do again for that franchise. Also reboots in this world makes sense since the world has like a bunch of reboots of beauty and the beast in different ways and a lot of other certain shows have reboots as well. Plus reboots are a way for stars and creators to make money. Magnum P.I,Macgyver and Hawaii Five O were pretty much always gonna get rebooted after the originals ended whether people liked it or not. since the reboots are created for a different generation of fans than the original ones for new generation of fans to watch that’s why reboots are usually mainly reboots and should usually be separated from the original ones storyline wise even if it’s the same characters with different actors and or genders if it’s someone like Higgins and Kono. But still reboots exist because they are usually mainly always good and make the creators of it lots of money. Some People are just getting weirder as time goes on. Even if the hate isn’t needed it’s at least understandable because it could be someone who’s watched the original Tom selleck magnum P.I. or the original Hawaii five o or the original macgyver hating on the all 3 reboots. But all 3 shows were clearly meant to have reboots it’s not like the originals don’t still exist for the original fans of those 3 shows to watch those generations of shows just ended a long time and went into a reboot storyline for the fans of the reboots to watch.

Magnum has always caught shit from Higgins even after everything they've been through. There is no Robins Nest..no anything...he's the White Knight. Good thing Mr Masters had a "talk" with her. Robins Nest is Magnums home. The cars are at his disposal. She repeated this to Thomas as an oops, I went to far gift. She's lucky to have that job.

Candice Grainger I think they’ve started filming by now since 2 or more weeks ago there was an article titled magnum pi season 3 is set to start filming next week. So I think they just might be doing the quarantining and filming technique at The same time in order to stay fully safe from covid 19. So I would think by now they would have started filming since that article comes from 2 or more weeks ago. But I think they are getting closer to filming or are doing the quarantining and filming idea and have already started since they want safer filming conditions due to covid 19. But Iam sure they will tell us if they haven’t already started it by now. Michelle King the reboot started in 2018. So it’s only has 2 seasons fully filmed and was renewed for a 3rd one so it has a very good storyline to keep it going past 1 Season. Here’s the plot for you:Thomas Magnum, a former Navy SEAL, is a private investigator. He lives in Hawaii, on the estate of multi-millionaire author Robin Masters, run by Juliett Higgins, a former MI6 agent. He has an uncanny knack of getting involved in cases involving major crimes. In these endeavours he is aided and abetted by his close friends Rick and TC.

In the last episode this season, Robin Masters gave Robins nest to Higgins lock stock and barrel. I would think that would include all the vehicles and the yacht. So now she has to pay the taxes, registration and insurance on all that stuff plus she has to pay the bills. How is she and Magnum going to do that on the small income they make? A lot of the time they don’t charge anything for there work. This opens up a whole can new of worms. There going to have to win the lottery or something.

I love a good slow burn romance but did they really have to cast a 5ft7" actor as Magnum? Tom Sellack was 6ft4". What is it these days with leading men having to be such short arses.

first of all this new reboot is nothing like the original, and I'm pretty sure they were not thinking about height when casting the new magnum. that would be a dumb and illogical thing to think about. and if they were going for a copy cat show like the original then im pretty sure the new magnum would have a mustache, and higgins wouldn't be a women. There's so many things that makes the reboot different from the original.

I dont know whether he is a good actor or not. I am just sick of super short male actors. The later films in the Harry Potter franchise and Game of Thrones suffered greatly from having tiny male leads.
