I don't think I've ever clicked on a video so fast🤣. I was born and raised in Newark and lived there for most of my life. Coopers was an integral part of my childhood. I'm 33 years old and I've been eating there since I was about 10. The food is bomb and the people there are so nice. They used to have another location in Newark/Irvington but I think he closed it. My go to sandwich is the hot pastrami on white roll with cheese, lettuce, tomato, and Russian dressing. Keep up the good work JL, shining a light on local small businesses👌😊

Cooper's used to be the spot back in the day on S. Orange Ave and Grove St in Newark! Awesome tasting sandwiches! JLJupiter you was right in my neighborhood when you was in Branch Brook Park doing your review! You and your wife really need to check out the Cherry Blossoms when they bloom late March/early April (depending on the weather warming up at that time). There is Cherry Blossom Festivities for about 2 weeks in the park at that time as well. North Newark is always an excellent place to explore little hidden gems of terrific food!!😊🌸🌳☀️
