Can you tell me if the statue of Abraham Lincoln seated on a bench is still in front of I think the Hall of Records bldg. looking down Market. We used to sit there when I was a teenager .

@warriorcrownprince4480 Thank you. I grew up in E. Orange, but visited cousins every weekend in Newark on Hunderdon Street. As a teen (1965), we'd walk downtown from there and would always rest on Lincoln. Lol. We moved to Newark to Homestead Park in 1968 after the riots, then when I got married '75 lived on Elizabeth Ave at Lyons Avenue. I moved to California in 1989.

Not to sound racist but it’s crazy to see so many non-black faces. Back in the day 98% black and depending on the day, the street would be packed with people. Shoutout Newark.
