To anyone stuck in Philly’s Finest “grind the ledge” task: Do a noseslide or Tailslide on the ledge and don’t pop out, use triggers to turn out of it. Task should register with a grind or slide without popping out.

For the 2nd half of the Philly's Finest challenge (trick up steps, grind fountain ledge, trick on flat, grind fountain ledge, trick down stairs) - on 2 playthrus it would not register the first grind on ledge. I figured out I had to go past the ledge, slow down & turn around, and grind it in the other direction, then turn back around and finish the rest normally. Just in case someone else runs into this issue and is watching this video for clues.

Yeah I couldn’t get it to register either direction. The only way I could get it to work was to stop near the ledge and basically stall it instead of grinding.

So it looks like I Beat the game last night. There are no more mission in my skater log. Kind of anticlimactic. So I went into the menu and manually rolled the credits of the game for my self lol. Was a fun ride but some of those mission had me almost about to smash my skull open.

There are tons more missions after everything is complete in the skater log Btw ;) about 28 more missions (phone missions, posters, untracked NPC locals) So explore

You can boost the push speed and boost your pop height to make it easier

One thing to be aware of with the achievement, make sure you were on manual catch when you created the character, I had it on normal from the tutorial my second run through and changed it before doing the first story mission. It didnt give me the achievement after and I had to redo everything with manual on from the start, not sure if changing it at all even on different characters affects it, but i didnt take the chance after doing it for a third time.

Yeah I’ve been telling people this since day 1 haha even though I did start the game on hardcore, I made a new character before even starting the first mission cause I had made a video on how to make Session as easy as possible.. so that first skater had auto catch on at one point. Didn’t wanna risk it so made a new one and had Manual catch set before. I did get the achievement after I finished the story :)

Grinding the rail on flat and manual the second ledge onto the other ledge of having more height and timing the trick of the grind on a different spot to skating of a famous spot in Philadelphia!

I’m using Near preset. It’s possible there could have been slight camera adjustments to the presets from the devs between when this video was made and now, but ive always used the same preset

My favorite mission was jahmir browns pyramid ledge challenge, I loved it so much I ended sessioning the ledges for another 2 hours after I beat the challenge

I can’t beat Toreys Hucking Down mission. You nose/tail slide, blint, then boardslide, but it never counts my board slide. I’ve been stuck on it for days. Also the Daewon play park mission. I can’t seem to get that one down.

The boardslide has to be done on the upper middle part of the ledge, I could have saved 3 hours if it would tell you lol

Esse jogo é lindo.... Apenas isso... A falta de noção de nas missões da campanha principal são uma falta de respeito com quem gastou dinheiro com esse jogo... A jogabilidade é boa... Mas o jogo quase nunca computa as manobras necessárias para cumprir os objetivos. Extremamente frustrante
