I had skated this spot prior to doing this challenge so I did have some practice and knew that a nose manual up the slide would work way more consistent for me than a manual.. however I didn’t expect to get the challenge that quickly, which is why I was shocked it registered hahaha

I looked this up for Play Park and then I went back and it clicked about how dumb I was being. I kept wondering why the manual wouldn't count, like I was expecting it to update like a line challenge, but its all just one single checkbox. First time I bothered to actually complete the line, it popped lol. Anyway great video!

on some tricks it only counts it if you ollie after youve done the trick since I guess the game thinks you are still doing the trick (like it happend on the miniramp for you 2 times)

But JUST an Ollie is counting that doesn’t even have a grind at all. This happened in the Nora missions at FDR too.. Ollie counted with no grind involved haha. The grinds that only count if you pop after are the ones that specifically say Pop Out or Trick out in the challenge. Otherwise you don’t need to pop out for grinds / slides to register.

Change Scoop input to Normal if it’s on Small, that helps a lot. Also be very sure you are pushing the setup stick straight down (or up for Nollie)

Pull the manual stick fully down or fully up right before you flick to get a good pop out. Try copying the exact tricks I do in the video

Looser trucks help you lock in better. You really gotta lock in perfectly for smiths and feebles. But even with grind alignment at 3, once you do get the perfect lock, you're not going anywhere.

Stance (Reg or goof) really shouldn’t matter tho.. it has no effect on the challenge as long as the proper trick is registered and you are in the trigger zones 🤔

Yes, auto catch is just a safety net. You can choose what foot catches the board instead of the game choosing automatically (but it will Always catch the board) If you’re trying to do the trophy for manual catch, you can’t have auto catch on at all (and need to set manual catch Before creating a new skater)

I don’t know if you have any tips for Xbox it’s the tre-flip achievement and it’s not registering it every 20 tries I do it and I have 700 done but to get the achievement you have to get 500

It’s bugged and you have to do 360 Bs Pop Shove for it to register the 500 Tre flips (or 360 hardflips apparently) it’s really weird but it does work, just not with the actual trick requires

no clue how you got that curved rail so easy, i was hitting board/lipslides after jumping up on the concrete there and getting like 4 pushes in on the one raised strip that goes all the way back, but i'd still be out of momentum by the end and i don't even have high grind friction at all (eventually just cheesed it by jumping on after the curve and just grinding/sliding the last little bit there lmao)

same with daewon's playground challenge, i dropped the big roll in ramp in the sandpit there and had to push down it and get a nollie in super fast to be able to land in a regular manny (nose manny's kept automatically ending at the top of the slide). also, samaria: "endless lines that flow are so cool!" *proceeds to make you do a line where you have to stop and reverse direction extremely awkwardly*

I can’t get passed the Donovan Strain part where you meet him at the skateshop and he says the register is down you should try relearn the streets. The game keeps saying the same thing and won’t move on from that part anyone else have the same?

You need 800EXP. Finish more missions then you can talk to him. Pause game, go to Skater Logs, Missions and track some missions

This kind of thing happens again in Philly before the Jam (you need 3000 exp.) Then again for Brooklyn Banks stair jam (you need 5000) and once more before EMB jam ( you need 8000) So anytime you talk to an NPC and it says come back later or something, you’ll know you need more exp. The next update is supposed to make that more clear

i play session on ps4 and i have problems with doing regular impossibles it always does pressure 360 when im doing the impossible input but when i do it in any other stance nollie fakie and switch the impossible works good why is that? is it me or the game?

This is because you are setting up the back foot in the pocket before scooping, it must be set straight Down before you scoop. Are you on Small scoop input or Normal scoop input?

Make sure you are doing a Fs POP shove. Very common for people to scoop and activate the quick shove instead of doing Pop shove. So make sure you flick the front foot stick up Before you let go of the back foot, then land in a grind or slide

There are some untracked locals you can do, maybe you need more EXP before you can continue. There are 2 in Highline, 2 in underground parking, eventually there is 4 in Blubba and 3 in EMB / pier 7 and 3 in China Banks. What exp are you at right now?

You can actually make them look vertical if you turn on Board Control mode and flick the front foot Diagonally Down (boost Extra Pitch in the advanced settings to make it even more vertical) p
