Not until they find an animator to hire. And they are looking for one since pre-release 3 years ago. Most probably, looking at the current place in session's lifecycle, they are not looking for one anymore, if not someone cheap who would do the job for love of the game. Probably we will see something similar with UE5 IF they switch, but i have my doubts the wyill cause of financial expenses it would imply.

For anyone not aware, they are currently working on transferring to Unreal 5 before they continue major fixes and gameplay mechanics. The game is not abandoned, nor are they being scummy with only DLC maps. They’re just trying to fund continued development of the game.

I seriously hope Session will get more updates fixing/improving gameplay and animations in the very near future. I had my concerns in the beginning in regards to the 1.0 release, but I remained positive that the game would keep improving. However, to this day Session still feels like a game that isn’t, and never was ready for a 1.0 release. The paid DLC’s are what really annoys me tho. I find it pretty scummy to release paid DLC before the game even looks and functions as intended. The focus should be on creating a good base game before releasing paid content.

So essentially these are fixes to issues that should have been addressed well over a year ago? I mean I'm grateful, but I'm still truly confused as to the necessity of hardly communicating with the community for such a long time. I'm no game developer, and so I'm sure the UE5 port, the other game the team is working on, and whatever else is up in the air adds to the overall work load that we don't see. However I assume the dreaded NDAs are still in effect and you all will continue the minimal transparency in the coming months :/

Hello. I just upgraded to ps5. I noticed a few things...the side pop dosent work on my ps5 verion. I always side pop my ollies when im going for smths or nose blunts and specially 50/50. Also the sounds in general are soo much more realistic on the ps4 verion. Cant wait for the next update and no more bouncing on landing.

To side pop you need to enabled Manual Board Control in the Flip Trick Settings. Sounds on all platforms are the same.

What happened with the flip tricks!? I use to be able to catch tricks late, id slightly over rotate a pop shove and my catch would bring it back and it looked so good, same with bs flips, I’d over rotate the flip and my guy would barely catch it with my toes. Now it’s all or nothing, you either catch it early or it’s simply going to ignore your input and do a 360 shove or double flip. None of the settings fix this either, I’ve tried max flip speed, min flip speed and all the other settings. It almost feels like manual catch has been turned into half manual catch half auto catch.. I remember being able to land primo if I messed up, why is that a double flip now😡😡

It has always been like that.. hasn’t changed at all other than Sync Scoop / Flip setting being touched up to allow for scoop speed control (control over scoop speed was nonexistent before) If you have sync Off (in flip trick settings), you’ll have to time things more accurately. With it On, it might feel more to what you were used to.

I like session but to be completely honestly I don’t really care about dlc maps or anything like that. We need better animations and more tricks. This game still have has no throw down animations, no complys, lots of buggy animations. The fact that they want to nickel and dime us for maps and cosmetic when we are lacking basic polishing is crazy. If ea tried to sell cosmetics for an unfinished games gamers would shit a brick.

Jesse, do you know of any fixes for why Session on STEAM crashes every time I boot it up on my PC? The issue is that the graphics glitch out on the crea-ture Studios splashscreen. I've got a low-spec PC, It PERFECTLY runs UE4 games & is capable of running UE5 just fine but, for whatever reason, it cannot run Session. I have all the hardware specifications, but it STILL refuses to run. I'm not shelling out $1000 for another computer, when I have already shelled out $1100 for my current setup. Can you please tell me what I have to do? I still enjoy Session on XBOXONE but I want access to the PC community too. I'm sorry for this long rant, but do you know of any solutions? Thanks in advance.

The “skate sim” where it’s pretty much impossible to skate any of the bowls besides airing out. FDR map is basically useless since you can’t do any of the million cool tricks that could be done.

Yeah, it's unacceptable at this late stage in the game. These bugs should've been fixed, especially with a throwdown animation. They clearly don't care about feedback from their customers. I think the modding community could do more for the game at this point

The base is there but it needs life. Why can't we have DLSS? I don't get this. This is a UE 4 game, so DLSS is pretty much a 4 click workload. The current TAA is ghosty as fuck (even at 4K 120) and we all could get better on top of a heavy performance boost.

How about we support the game and its developers so that we can get all of the features we want? It takes A LOT of time and money to develop a video game the RIGHT way. Good examples of bad game development would be Tarkov or Star Citizen, where all they seem to do is ask for more and more money, even start new games, without finishing what they have now. If all Session is asking for is to buy the base game for $40 at most, and a couple DLC’s IF I want them, then shut up and take my money. They’re not asking you to cut off an arm or leg, they simply NEED the support to finish the game. Stop wasting your money on games that have been in development for 10+ years. Start supporting the devs that are at least TRYING to do it right. Activision or EA will also happily take every last dime you have, in case you’re looking for a ‘finished game’ right now.
