They replied to me when I asked about historical challenges and they said they have no plans right now on making more historical challenges. I think they have a lot off stuff they could add like challenges for the D7 Blocks spot. Hopefully down the road they can get around to adding more, maybe after they find a new animator for goofy stance

I’ve been begging for this since the game became available. I know I’m not the only one who used to try to make these spots in the park builder in skate 3. This is a breath of fresh air and I’ve been spending hours re creating my favorite skate videos. Thanks so much to you and everyone who makes this stuff possible. No, the problem is that they sell you a 40$ game when it is everything but finished. It's full of bugs and there are no animations. They should focus on finishing and polishing the game over that make me pay for dlc content which have the same bugs.

Lookin forward to this one. My only thing is why don’t they add more customizations to the character like more hairstyles, accessories, tattoos, etc. we got plenty of clothing and decks and even maps for that matter. Be nice to get some better character customizations

Just gonna put something similar to my original comment here since the video was reuploaded: I'm glad this is a map of realistic spots and not another abandoned something or other. It's the first DLC I'm somewhat interested in. I hope the transition to UE5 comes with a lot of the fixes and changes we've been asking for from before release. things like fixing the bounce glitch for real this time, fixing the weird acceleration on the last keyframe of a clip in the replay editor, fixing session marker respawns so i don't occasionally bail on respawn in a way that freaks the physics out and tanks my framerate, new animations, Vert skating, better looking female character model, etc etc. I didn't make this long list of problems out of malice towards the game or the Crea-Ture team, i made this list because i know these are things the team is capable of doing given enough time and money.

no gameplay changes were made in this update. you need to remember to change the inputs to Switch inputs after 180. so for regular, youll do: 180 then left stick down, right stick up or slightly angled.

If you have a completely unmodded game (never used Cheats Mod or anything) but you have an AMD system, here’s the fix: Right click Session on Steam then select Properties. Under Launch Options, type in: -d3d11 Launch session

You can still try that, but the issue would be a mod is causing an issue. If using Cheats Mod, go to Content>Blueprints and delete it. It’s possible you may have to also delete your save file from: %localappdata%\sessionGame

Jesse, love the map! Tell the boys they really earned their money with this one! hahaa! Anywho, I'm not sure if this is a bug or what, but wanted to bring it to someone's attention. It's hard to explain, but I will try here. It's an issue with Nose/Tail slides and trying to pop out of them. Let's look at the joysticks as a clock, it'll help me explain. So, you're skating regular, your coming up to a ledge and you hit a FS Noseslide. If you dip the grinding stick below the 3 (Again, view the stick like a clock), and I mean the SLIGHTEST bit below the 3, you can NOT pop out without resetting the input. Same for backside and the 9 on a clock. Trick Relative Input and Casual Grind Mode are OFF. Is this supposed to happen? If not, should I report it somewhere or is it all good just letting you know? Hello, I have bought the DLC schoolyard map awhile ago on steam but I'm having a problem when i opened the game I cant find the Schoolyard map on the "select map" menu. The session game on steam didn't also notify me to update the game after I purchased it. It also says that "This content requires the base game Session: Skate Sim on Steam in order to play." If you’re looking to get A Lot of DIY objects with a DLC, the Mall dlc is what you should go for first. If you want one of the best maps for session (imo) that features a bunch of famous skate spots and comes with a little bit of extra DIY objects, then go for the school.

Unfortunately no fix for this, sorry. We aren’t even sure what’s causing the issue cause it can’t be reproduced at the studio even after following steps provided by those that get the issue. What platform are you playing on? Do you happen to remember roughly how far your grind distance was prior to losing progress?

I have a question and session wont answer. I have manual catch on, but for slides and grinds i dont have to catch just do the input instantly after i did the trick and it works. Tried to change it to full release but its the same. I dont know if its a bug or this is how it should be. I think its strange that i dont have to catch while i have manual catch on.

That is intended, the catch input is the input for your next trick. If you’re just doing a flip trick on flat or over something without landing in grind or slide after, you can catch with back foot up or front foot down (any flick input will catch actually, but if you have late tricks on, best to catch with back foot up or front foot down). With No Release on, an auto catch happens if you never release the sticks after flicking in order to prepare for the grind or slide. This can cause issues when trying 360 flip variations, so always make sure you release sticks after flicking for those.

On full release, the grind input will be the catch input. You don’t need to flip, catch input then grind input. Just flip + Grind input will catch the board

Skate in the opposite stance (just trouble tap Trigger to revert or double tap triangle (or Y) while off board to get back on board switch. Then set up the back foot down, scoop back foot like you would for a Bs 360 shove then flick front foot to the side like a Kickflip. Make sure you release sticks Fully after you input the trick so nothing is held mid air. Are you stuck on Billy Marks challenge by chance? (Switch 360 flip Lipslide)

Yeah that’s the Billy marks challenge, switch Tre Fs lip. The issue is most likely you are still holding the inputs after you flick the trick, which will cause an auto catch and board will only do Varial flip (trick display will say Switch 369 flip cause it reads inputs). Scoop, flick, RELEASE, then reinput for lipslide when board does the 360. Turn out to land in your normal stance

Update didn’t change anything graphics performance wise. Does the lag happen usually when you grind or slide only? Are you set to Graphics mode in video settings? Do you have city life turned off?

Yeah that’s the issue, too many unfinished missions. If you do not plan to finish the missions, just create a second custom skater. That skater will still have all money, inventory but not have any missions started

Can’t wait for this to drop on Nintendo! Think I’ll pass on the waterpark since it’s been almost a year now. The mall, I’ll still buy it if it ever becomes available for purchase. But man I want those 5 free updates! Can’t even remember what they do anymore lol I know the first one had board breaking which I really want, and the second or third had flip control which is so fun on my brothers PS version. Hope at least the first 3 updates and the 3 DLC’s come to Nintendo this year 🤞🏼

I JUST NOTICED THE GIANT BLUE POLE RIGHT NEXT TO THE CARLSBAD GAPS RAIL/STAIRS. PLEASE CONSIDER REMOVING THAT ONE CORNER POLE, IT TOTALLY RUINS THE WHOLE POINT OF FEATURING THAT SPOT. OTHERWISE IM VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE MAP AND SIM. i own it on ps5 and (the criminally underrated version on) switch. hd rumble while grinding would be good too.

Nah, I found out the official name first and when I realized that we weren’t really going to mention what “LHS” stood for, figured there wasn’t much point in suggesting a better name. So that’s why I mention what the official name was and what I plan on calling it from now on. My original name pitch before LHS was even placed anywhere in the map was Mongo High 😂
